Bonus points for in general repair tanking tactics. Here are the normal combinations that I use, plus a couple that I know fellow Gallenteans use. My preferred method of running a Galassault means that an increased shield buffer is often very useful. Most of these low slot combinations are fitting intensive, so you won't be fitting triple complex shields or damage mods, but a precision enhancer can be useful and doesn't take up PG, so you can often at least get in double ENH shield extenders. These are more examples of fittings that I would approve of for the Gal Assault.
Since regular armor plates now reduce strafe speed substantially, that ferroscale one is now the best way to run an Amassault as well... -_-
What's even the point of playing Amassault anymore? I don't have a single standard plate on any of my fits anymore,because standard plates are now trash compared to ferroscales. The strafe hit is just too hard on my already low speed. Even reactives are a risk. Just ferroscales and reppers.
Might as well be playing a Gallassault, since there's no reason to use a ScR instead of a TacAR either...
It just doesn't feel like an Amassault without at least 800 Armor.

Considering John 5mith was running around in an amass last night ScR +melee'ing the fck outta everything, im pretty sure you're doing it ineffectively-different.
The point is, that fitting an Amassault like an Amarr suit, is ineffective.
I find something deeply wrong with this.

(Better than it used to be, but I would never seriously use it)
Don't get me wrong. ScRs on Amassault are still good, but TacARs are better.
Yes I have been using them. I've already switched all my ScR fits over to them, because they are that good.
They are like using an ScR with Amassault 5, but instead of overheating, it reloads. On any suit.

I had said with all my alts together. (1st one got to 23.9 million sp during my first break. Played full proto for a long time with passive sp on the other alt, continue said pattern and it is much easier to believe.) So you believe the Caldari are all lying scum because one of the first protostompers has a impressive score? (But I think you need to slap yourself if you believe the WLR, it was slightly exaggerated, more like a 3.61 if I had to guess. Raven here is more of a never proto alt. He doesn't have anything to proto because I get distracted by other weapons and go for them.)

There are more things than that wrong with your "stats".
The big thing that jumps out at me is how you claim to have 800,000+ kills(which is just lolwortgy by itself), but only about 5,000,000 WP.
What, have you been getting only 6.25 WP per kill? Lol.
If you are skilled enough to get 800000 kills, why does your current character have a 0.67 KDR? Someone that's gotten that many kills surely could get a higher KDR than that in any suit and weapon combo, right?

My kdr is steadily dropping. This makes me sad. What use am i to my team as an Assault if i cant get a good kdr?!

That's all anyone's role is in this game, with the exception of Logi's who keep people alive so that they can kill.
Scouts can provide to the team with intel and hacks as well
Commandos make great suppression and AV suits,
Sentinels are room sweepers and point defense on top of killing.

Assaults just kill. Thats it. No real secondary role. Unlike the other suits, their primary role is clone elimination. Thats all theyre truly good at.
