Are they telling me to go away because I am in the way or do they want me to keep going? |

They're asking for ammo. Drop a hive if you have one. |

I run into this occasionally as I don't generally carry nanohives on my logi suits. |

I think meleeing in the someone's direction is often done to say thanks. However, actually hitting someone from up close may have a very different connotation.
Oh, right, and the need ammo thing. I forgot.

I just wish there was a commonly accepted way of saying "Sorry, fresh out. The # carried for deployable equipment is ridiculously low and the nearest supply depot is on the other side of the battlefield."
I try to cycle through my other equipment to show them I don't have any, but by then they've smacked me again and think I'm just fat-fingering the controller
FPS = First Person Support. Kills win battles but it's kinda hard to kill if you're dead and out of ammo.

I imagine them thinking "wtf is this idiot doing, I just want fricking ammo"

Jane, The other common signal is a jump, usually when revived, or a quick dip, usually when being repped, to mean, "thanks". It's actually quite gratifying when that happens, so well done to those mercs with manners. I think you're quite entitled to let your rep tool " accidentally" lose its lock at a crucial moment in a firefight if a merc fails to thank you.

I guess people that have played WOW jump to say thanks and while the ducking I strictly reserve for no mic squadding. I guess we'll be seeing some more hives now |

They are doing their best Chris Brown impression. It's how you say "thank you" in douche bag.

There really needs to be a way to signal that.

I've always wondered what that meant. I took it as "go away" so I did.

It does definitely mean "I needs ammo", but I do it more to say thanks. Or, I would, if I ever found any Logis... Can't find any Logis that like to rep things. It makes me sad, as a former Logibro. :/
Maybe when I'm rich and famous I'll publically execute any and all who use Logis for the sole purpose of Heavy Hugging. Spread the love, guys. :( <3
