This has has to do with more people intentionally searching for Gallente (those people are also usually more experienced) and the rest who don't unironically join the losing side because of loyalty or fast fights get queued for Caldari or Amarr because they have more open contracts. However if you set up a queue synch on either side it swings the battle in favor of them due to inherent organization and cohesion rather than skill. But really as of late the only " good" teams queueing for Cal Mil is Capital Acquisitions, but even then, they fight for Caldari because "GalMil is easy mode". The Amarr have not engaged the Caldari in open warfare ever, though if you refer the to joint Matari, Gallentean, and Caldari fleets that attacked the Amarr fleet in orbit over Ammamake I then perhaps its a better example of the power of the Amarrian Navy that it requires the joint forces of three nations to repulse a single arm of our Navy, and one that inflicted heavy losses against its foes. If you refer to the Jove then that is a debatable military loss. The Amarr Navy commited 200 Ships to the battle, less than a 5th of what it could theoretically field at the time and without the support of its dreadnought class vessels, of which the Amarr were first to develop (and if I am not mistaken Cynosensural Field Theory) at a time where the Amarr Navy committed less forces than it should have assuming the Jovians were nothing but savages, and also enforcing a military doctrine that disallowed retreat. The Amarr Navy inflected kills or crippling injuries on between 1/3 and 1/2 of the Jovian ships there which were hundreds of years technologically superior. If you refer the the Elder Invasion again that is an example of Amarrian supremacy and Minmatar cowardice.
