Minmatar FW today has been very painful.
I only managed to secure victory in about 2 out of 10 + Battles today. It would seem that Amarr FW is the new bandwagon everyone is jumping on.
My point of contention is that many players that I have seen fighting for the Minmatar this past week or so are now fighting for the Amarr.

Hey the Minmatar Dust Militia is just like the EVE one.
So quick to claim their successes on team work, tactics, and a noble goal....... yet when they fail they have a convenient number of excuses to fall back on......
It's not called the Pendulum War for nothing y'know.

I am glad for this as I have stayed up crying each night. Flashbacks from the day's massacres of Amarrians haunt my memories. Streams of blood falling from the Amarr MCC like a waterfal of crimson sorrow. The souls of thousands mourn life itself. Severed arms and legs line the roads. Decapitated Amarrian heads are stacked into large pyramids are bombarded with XT missiles and forge guns. The cries of horror echo in the halls of eternity. No regret has been known like Amarr FW.

It's not.
All you can do is hold to your loyalties and weather the successful campaigns with the unsuccessful. When you show others you are loyal regardless of the situations you garner their respect.
I still have to begrudgingly admit I have respect for RestlessSpirits, New Age Outlaws, Prima Gallicus, SVER True Blood, and Gradient who spent the same months slogging it out for the Minmatar that I did the Amarr.

Hey I don't know if you heard true, however on the Biomassed podcast I am sure Rattati mentioned something about making FW choices more meaningful and harder to mess about with.
Here's to hoping that being loyal garners better rewards. Or perhaps that being a traitor incurs some sort of penalty.

That's a result of Arkena, Kirk, and Cat trashing the Caldari every chance they get and generally showing no respect for the "Good Fights", regardless of how much **** I talk with Sinboto and Ghost Kaisar I know that when I enter a match with them I might be up against very strong competition or a bunch of other players as dedicated as I am.

Man I dunno what they are offering but Minmatar VS Amarr Faction warfare right now is fun, bloody, messy and downright close right now.
I'm telling you its like PC-lite right now. The Amarr are using a ton of proto to secure their wins. I think the Minmatar are going to have to step it up.

The problem with Minmatar is that Amarr are absolutely terrible.
Usually.
This means that most Minmatar qsyncs are made of players who are not used to actual competition and they reliably collapse when faced with an actual team.

That's almost a fair suggestion.
Yeah you get Syncers who yell loudest of all (I'm guilty of that) about how great they are and how they win every fight......and yet they aren't going up against strong opponents, just a randomly assigned team.
Eventually when they do randomly get assigned against another sync you realise how poor you are competitively and either have to step up or step down.
FW has not been competitive for a long time.

I also agree with KA24DERT (is that a Nissan engine serial or something? Maybe Honda?)
True, its competitive now bro. VERY competitive. ( Min V Amarr anyway, I assume Caldari are still screwed)

Out of interest, out of all the players who play only Min FW, who actually goes the whole nine yards with loyalty? Minmatar fw is the only one I play, not because it's easy lp, but because I always go Minmatar. I use Min suits, Min lp modules, it's the same for me in EVE.
I encountered someone I'd played min fw with yesterday on the Amarr side as well last night. Oh the satisfaction when I flaylocked him |

And that is what makes our loyalty so valuable.
We are not obligated by state, creed, or any secular power to conform to the wishes of the Empires.....and yet many of use choose to of our own volition.
The fact that we are still willing to work alongside Empire militaries as proxy soldiers, peace keepers, and security forces only serves to prove the value of our good will and loyalty to a cause.

It's not called the Pendulum War for nothing y'know. Well that would make the Amarr Militia like the Matari Militia as well.
When they had 100% I remember them beating their chest and talking about how they were better than everyone, but once they lost that 100% oh man did them tears start rolling in.
But I will give them both credit, they've actually accepted that FW is supposed to be difficult and unlike the Caldari Militia aren't asking for match-making due to the lack of their abilities.
