Hey the Minmatar Dust Militia is just like the EVE one.
So quick to claim their successes on team work, tactics, and a noble goal....... yet when they fail they have a convenient number of excuses to fall back on......
It's not called the Pendulum War for nothing y'know.

It's not called the Pendulum War for nothing y'know. You are damn right there my friend. Honestly I understand why people go with the flow as it were, however it doesn't seem...... right.
It's not.
All you can do is hold to your loyalties and weather the successful campaigns with the unsuccessful. When you show others you are loyal regardless of the situations you garner their respect.
I still have to begrudgingly admit I have respect for RestlessSpirits, New Age Outlaws, Prima Gallicus, SVER True Blood, and Gradient who spent the same months slogging it out for the Minmatar that I did the Amarr.

And I'm the lone guy who fights for the Caldari no matter how hard it gets. I am only told to give up... (Mainly from mail and corpmates. Speaking of mail, my Lol fit brought in 3 hate mails.) yet I stand here for my state.
That's a result of Arkena, Kirk, and Cat trashing the Caldari every chance they get and generally showing no respect for the "Good Fights", regardless of how much **** I talk with Sinboto and Ghost Kaisar I know that when I enter a match with them I might be up against very strong competition or a bunch of other players as dedicated as I am.

Usually.
This means that most Minmatar qsyncs are made of players who are not used to actual competition and they reliably collapse when faced with an actual team.
That's almost a fair suggestion.
Yeah you get Syncers who yell loudest of all (I'm guilty of that) about how great they are and how they win every fight......and yet they aren't going up against strong opponents, just a randomly assigned team.
Eventually when they do randomly get assigned against another sync you realise how poor you are competitively and either have to step up or step down.
FW has not been competitive for a long time.

I only managed to secure victory in about 2 out of 10 + Battles today. It would seem that Amarr FW is the new bandwagon everyone is jumping on.
My point of contention is that many players that I have seen fighting for the Minmatar this past week or so are now fighting for the Amarr.
/Shakes Fist -You easy mode traitors! any trouble you have you can blame it all on LOLROMANSBOAT. the real amarr power house team comes from the BOAT. be afraid and run.
Well it is currently pretty much the only active channel right now. But yeah a lot of strong players can be found in there.

And that is what makes our loyalty so valuable.
We are not obligated by state, creed, or any secular power to conform to the wishes of the Empires.....and yet many of use choose to of our own volition.
The fact that we are still willing to work alongside Empire militaries as proxy soldiers, peace keepers, and security forces only serves to prove the value of our good will and loyalty to a cause.

those q sync teams are not as good as they think they are facing a bunch of randoms and like that minmatar said in this thread earlier... they fall apart when facing real competition.
Indeed. I remember even before Cubs declared to the Amarr rolling out in a single squad with Maikyl, Evicer, Aero, Aisha, and T12 and just mauling synced teams with multiple squads.
Until that point when we were forming the Amarr Militia the Minmatar had never fought a dedicated and organised opposition from corporations they'd never heard of.
Within in month of the "Golden Age" everyone who synced against us knew they were in for a fight against Evicer (TP at the time) and PIE Inc. Hillarious watching teams leave the match when ours or Cubs name showed up on the Amarr rosters.

In my opinion, it hasn't really been competitive ever since the introduction of LP and the removal of ISK. FW used to be the safehaven from the protostomping squads in public contracts, but once the loyalty store was introduced the two switched.
I would disagree.
It was amazing back in the day. Players fought to competitive levels because they wanted to win for their faction, heck there were corps back then who would stake their reputation on their fights, PIE amongst them, and to use it didn't matter if we went up against 16 RestlessSpirits or whatever because we knew we could give them a hell of a fight.
Everyone was organised, everyone fought well, everyone cared about their faction.
LP rolls in and now everyone only cares about what gear or BPO they need at the time. It's sad and pathetic.

I had many days where I just logged in and within 5 minutes I was already scheduled to fight a pc. There was always either a war or just everyone on the damn game hiring the best ringers they can find. We had to make that isk!
All good.
Just like we aren't all that active any more.... it's a shame but I do more for the Amarr Empire plexing one small in Arnstur in 10 mins than I do in Dust in a week and if I'm lucky cost some ass hole 15- 30 Million ISK in a good fight.

It's not called the Pendulum War for nothing y'know. Well that would make the Amarr Militia like the Matari Militia as well. When they had 100% I remember them beating their chest and talking about how they were better than everyone, but once they lost that 100% oh man did them tears start rolling in. But I will give them both credit, they've actually accepted that FW is supposed to be difficult and unlike the Caldari Militia aren't asking for match-making due to the lack of their abilities. Except the amarr militia didn't drop out and all go pirate. Never before have I seen a group in a videogame as pathetic as the minmatar militia in EVE.
I'd never call their EVE side militia pathetic...... I'm a **** poor line pilot at best. But I am disappointed they didn't go down kicking and screaming. Hell they won out in Huola earlier this year, we all had good fights and escalated from Dessies and Frigs up to Cruisers......
The worst bit it a lot of them are still around in FW space without the Militia tag..... it's like they took no pride in being in their militia and thought they could simply avoid a stigma by loosing the tag for a few months.
I'll remember that LNA, Periphery, and Iron Oxide gave up though.... it's kind of sad because taking Huola meant nothing without them fighting for it and I know those corps and alliances are all fighters through and through.

It's not called the Pendulum War for nothing y'know. You are damn right there my friend. Honestly I understand why people go with the flow as it were, however it doesn't seem...... right. AND ITS NOT. If I WAS CCP: Everybody gets to choose again their race. Then they choose an ally. You can only play FW for those 2 from now on.
That's not a good suggestion.
Honestly FW should just mirror the mechanics in EVE that have made it good.
As long as you are well regarded by the faction you can sign up to their militia. In this state you can fight for that faction and its allies but can only flip districts, enact system wide changes for your own faction. LP can be used for many thing.
- LP store rewards for sale - Securing and establishing higher Tier status in FW districts and throughout the whole FW zone as a whole that benefits the entire militia - LP store rewards for use
Thing about FW is and people have to realise it. We not state militaries were just people employed by the Empires to fight on their behalf in procy conflicts that generate economic growth and extend the sovereignty of the Empire without directly staking their public image on the line.
As much as I want to pretend I'm an Amarrian Templar I am not. I'm just a soldier (classiarii) given whatever role and authority I have by a capsuleer organisation not directly affiliated with the Amarr Empire.
Many EVE players are loyalists like PIE and consider themselves paramilitaries, others consider themselves privateers and act and Empire sanctioned pirates, others are simply pirates or merc groups who only serve as long as there is financial gain in it for them.
This should remain. The more time I spend in FW EVE side the more I see FW is not actually about the Empires, either its about the ISK or its about loyalty and loyalty is not denoted by your ethnicity in EVE.
