Because no one else thought that a 300 WP "kill uplinks on roof" thing would be utilized by many, many people.
Please tell me the winning lottery numbers for Frankfurt and do it quickly because I have to catch a plan in 15 hours.
Going less insulting, many people are "calling it" all the time. Sometimes people get it wrong, sometimes they get it right. This time is no different.

I bet you have gotten plenty wrong as well.
I would rather praise people for good ideas to fix real problems in a constructive manner than the occasional time that someone "called it."

Yeah, nothing really changed about them except the bandwidth changes so... they are still OP. Did anyone really expect them to be balanced now?
Flux orbitals are being spammed because they are a new toy and people are still trying to roof top camp. Talk to me in a month to see where they are.
"Lag is bad" that's totally objective  "From what I hear" have you even logged in yet? Have you done a few matches yourself?

Who needs variety? spam mlt heavies like everyone else, most objectives are cqc areas anyways.
Now I have to put a damn uplink on my assault, good job, you know how hard that **** is to fit on a decent assault fit? FFS there goes assaults other equipment slot. Well played.

I called Heavies getting screamed about back in chromosome when someone said "I know what's a great idea! Let's make HMGs COMPLETELY CQC! Is Brilliant, no?"

Lag was bad, but it has since gotten better -- and none of it was a drop in DPS because of equipment spam. I suspect the server or internet had some issues that have since been resolved.
Spamming 300 WP orbitals is a non-issue -- and it's not like it too a genius to figure that one out. The bug in the announcement is a bit annoying, but will be fixed.
Heavies were OP before this patch, and the changes from today weren't intended to address that.
