I haven't been able to play yet because I'm stuck at work all day.
I read the bandwidth is bugging out on people so it should make for some interesting battles tonight.
Are logis going to become a need for PC?
Are scouts no longer going to be spammed?
Are assaults the new scouts?
Heavy spam will still be a thing of course.
Guess we'll find out tonight on the battlefield. |

Well it will be interesting since all suits have the same bandwidth so hopefully that will get fixed soon then you can really see that changes to pc that will occur |

Map? Did they use assaults in the city too? Were these just Amarr and minmatar assaults?
EDIT: Also, @ "Logi? What's that?", if there weren't enough logis it was because of the bandwidth bug most likely.

We had two PCs last night....
The first one was a bit of a laugher, so I can't really draw any conclusions from that one.
The 2nd one was against Random Guns, IIRC, and it was a brawl on the bridge map. It was, frankly, nice to see more fighting person on person instead of person on uplink.
Top killer in the game? An RE scout who was fighting mostly on the outside as we locked down the city pretty quick. Alas, we lost by a tick, but on the bright side it was a closer fight than the last few times and while there were still uplinks, they weren't nearly as prevalent as in the past.
That said, bandwidth was broken last night (all suits have the same value of 9), so it may be too early to tell how this will shake out. |

I'm just going by what our team ran and we beat them pretty bad using that formula posted above.
FA used the same old stuff they always do.
There were no logis on our team because reps are for pussies and assaults can drop uplinks just as well as a logi can. |

This was my over-all conclusion thus far - still pending on hot fix.
With 2 uplinks max per suit regardless of which suit you pick - the real changes to PC aren't working as intended yet. I believe once they are we'll see almost nothing has changed PC battle wise.

Damn, nice - if you're not exagerating by saying you beat them pretty bad by using assaults and commandos for the most part.
Than hell yeah if Assaults are good links spammers, I'm getting MOAR WP in dom with them unless we have blue links spam.
Now the only thing I wish is my WP to not get wasted by others ******** squad leaders in ******* mini flux OBs, when are they ******* gonna fix this ****

This is why I hate fighting on patch day.
Not that I was there for the fight. Got my last two finals today, then I'm DONE for the winter.
But yeah. With more powerful passive short range scans, overlapping assault scans should work as well as scouts.
I predict lots more assaults in PC.
Which is good, since that means 1-2 scouts can get away with actually running some damps and cloaks and go back to wrecking havoc (I hope so at least).

I didn't say it has no future. I said that I'm sceptic about it as we all here know CCP pretty well.
Than, there is actually some cool stuff supposed to come out in the next 3-4 months, such as PC changes, meta changes, marketing and stuff alike.

I only play Dust to occasionally talk to my friends. So I play for a few hours, hate what I'm doing, then play a different game (usually a Souls game) for a week or so.
This game is beyond repair and it's not like it matters because of lolegion. And I won't be playing that either because lolpcshooters.
