Assaults and Commandos are OP.
Scouts are meh.
Heavies are still heavies.
Logi? What's that? Map? Did they use assaults in the city too? Were these just Amarr and minmatar assaults? EDIT: Also, @ "Logi? What's that?", if there weren't enough logis it was because of the bandwidth bug most likely. 4 point Production Facility. I'm just going by what our team ran and we beat them pretty bad using that formula posted above. FA used the same old stuff they always do. There were no logis on our team because reps are for pussies and assaults can drop uplinks just as well as a logi can.
This is why I hate fighting on patch day.
Not that I was there for the fight. Got my last two finals today, then I'm DONE for the winter.
But yeah. With more powerful passive short range scans, overlapping assault scans should work as well as scouts.
I predict lots more assaults in PC.
Which is good, since that means 1-2 scouts can get away with actually running some damps and cloaks and go back to wrecking havoc (I hope so at least).
Like back in good old 1.7

I don't know why we even brought three logis, that was just dumb.
Who was the FC so that we can yell at him?

Bandwidth was kind of fixed and it seemed to have no effect on the match. I suspect this will change once the links pop when switching to heavy.
Only played lolglory last night and they are so bad it's hard to judge much from that debacle.
I'll update with what FA ran in a fun match vs. DMG (And friends from PG and other sources)
Bridge Map:
I was in charge of outside squad. Can't vouch for city, but I KNOW what I want for my outside squads now.
3 Assaults 1 Logi (Preferable Min, Gal if scouts are an issue) 1 Heavy 1 Minmatar Scout
1 Assault stays on homepoint, with support from vehicle squad.
2 Assaults and the Logi+Heavy take A. Logi+Heavy are right on the point, Assaults float and typically try to zone them on the enemy homepoint. Assaults need to carry either Needles or Links. One assault and the heavy should run AV nades for tanks. Logi should have fluxes, and one other assault can choose what he wants. Logi needs scans, rep, links, and ammo.
Scout is special. He floats between A and HP, and is responsible for setting up links on enemy HP and trying to sneak it and disrupt movement.
If A is zerged, People on A hold as long as they can and the scout makes a break for enemy HP, lays down link.
Everyone spawns on it, and takes EHP. Assault on our HP watches A and notes if they try to break onto his point.
IF they move back to their HP, Scout breaks for A and lays down links. See the pattern?
If they crash our HP, squad moves up to A, scout defends until dude on our HP dies, then spawns on link on his new home.
Ring around the rosie, with the best squad comp I can think of. Granted, I'm not sure how this would fare vs. a better team, but after that match, this is what I would want. It has a good blend of mobility and offensive/defensive power.

I've always found that the best strategy for winning PCs has been to tell everyone on the forums what you're going to do.
Anyone worth fighting already knows how to play ring-around-the-rosie.
Anyone who fights us will learn our squad comp after the first fight.
