Since, you know, the active scanner requires you to do something and is not a 360 degree wall hack.
So the best recon tool in the game is now the Gal Logi?

Being able to detect the vast majority of players in the game (Gal Logi scans are very difficult to dodge if you are NOT scout), along with them now also being able to share those scans with the TEAM and those scans are now more powerful than passive scans (With the arrow now included)
Literally the best recon suit in the game. Why walk over to the objective with a sneaky scout and see whats up, when you can stand 80m away and *Click* Oh there they are.
Granted, Scouts still have a role. It just isn't recon. Their role is stealth. That's it. Cloak Nerf and range amp nerf means that scouts have some severely nerfed passive scans compared to before. Hell, the LOGI is better at passive scanning than we are.
Scouts are only good for dodging scans, and finding other damped suits. They are all now assassin suits.

No, don't misunderstand me.
This isn't exactly a bad thing, IF you want to remove scouts from being recon tools.
Think about it this way, Powerful Gal logi scans would force medium frames to DAMP to avoid them. So long as its POSSIBLE to avoid those scans, you will have med frames dampening to get under them.
Damped Med frames however, would then be targeted by scouts. They may dodge active scanners, but they can't avoid the scouts.
So if they get killed by scouts, what will they do? Their own scouts will start targeting the scouts.
See how it works? It's not necessarily BAD, but it does shift the scouts role, from "Detect the masses" to "Detect the damped"
Just some thought on this before I head out to take my chem final. Wish me luck.

Gal logi's should be targeted by scouts as well . Someone knowing your position has nothing to do with how you handle them , ask a heavy that can't get under any scanner or the assault that plays to there role and that's slayer , they carry a scanner and if a Gal logi is equipped with all scanners then there a easy target as well as you being seen . Most of you people that bring up these items are in a squad when you play , so I just can't understand why the biggest complainers are the one's who belong to a squad of a big corp , so there are multiple squads involved .
Please point out any and all "complaining" in the above post.
I'm just pointing out that "Scouts" are no longer a recon unit, and showing his this meta change will affect them and how they are played.
Very little complaining in there. If you read carefully, you'll even see that I'm claiming that the loss of strong scans on scouts is a good thing.

Thanks!
I'm fairly certain I rocked it, and I also found out I got a 92% on my Chem Lab Final that I took earlier.
Great way to reward myself today, with 1.10 Dust for a few hours.
