For issues on the Uprising 1.10 update, please use this thread. Thank you! Map game play issue with open ended Giant Crates,The ledge on the bottom makes your merc stick to it, i think it should be smooth walking going into a crate ,You have to hit jump to get in over a 3" ledge. Fixing things like this will help with the dust experience. So true. When i first encountered the container ledge issue on the new maps it was a real surprise and a real letdown. It's honestly something that i expect to be at the top of the fix list for every patch but it never is - was hoping that since this is the first update since the new maps released it might make it into 1.10.
What are the technical issues standing in the way of fixing this immersion-breaking and frustrating problem that truly sullies the player experience? My belief is that when new players who are giving DUST a try encounter problems like this it magnifies any other smaller issues they might have with the game and pushes them towards ultimately rejecting DUST.

Daily rewards are a good addition, i suspect DUST will see more hours logged.
Would be tempted to bonus wins over WP a bit more in the payout structure, just enough to educate/remind new & vet mercs what they're getting paid for.

OP 4rce wrote:The game played beautifully this morning. The mechanics felt natural. I was really looking forward to this update and I was not let down. I agree. Bugs/teething problems aside, the game also played well for me this morning for the for matches i played.
Maybe just luck of the draw, but my galscout felt much stronger than my minsault this morning.

This strikes me as a change no one asked for, and while it may save a brand new player that first fall out of the MCC to their death, really it only takes away the choice to sacrifice health for the element of surprise. I can't recall ever hearing a complaint that the inertia dampener was too difficult to use as it was, and would at least like the option to switch it to manual. I agree. Only upside is it saves a player from lagsplatting.
But i imagine there are very few mercs who like giving up the control. I think it takes away from the game just a little bit. I want to be responsible for my own splats, tyvm.
That initial drop hitting the dampers a fraction of a second before impact was good gameplay and factored in the early objective rush gameplay for scouts.
I would like this mechanic to save me from lagsplatting but not selfsplatting. Is that possible, CCP?

What kind of lesson does it teach them now? +1. Very good point.
