What does that mean, exactly? You can Sentinel. You can Commando. You can LAV. You can Dropship. You can Assault. And by risk you mean "100% impossible to get the drop on someone to knife them"? Because then yes, I agree.
He said take away the scout in scout which is blatantly not true... its not like your scans are getting worse you just dont see which way they are facing now which means a properly paranoid individual will be harder to sneak up on(but not impossible). Knowing which way the enemy is facing without IS WAY TOO POWERFUL and made it cake to negate any possible attempt by a merc to watch his back.

where pray tell is the hypocrisy? Dunno if you noticed but I run all suits, and I'm pretty sure my scout is as affected as any other scout.

As an Amarr specialist, I can guarantee you use them more then I do considering our scout is out run by assaults. All I'm saying is with the advent of 1.10 a cautious player has a chance now where previously they did not due to the magical ability to see which way a merc was facing THROUGH A FREAKING WALL.

You had just an equal ability to see through a freking wall.
Like I said before noone is trying to take your scans, but being able to see which a merc is looking through a wall is too powerful.

Good that they removed directional indicators from the TACNET bad they gave the ability for assaults that run no eWar to see scouts through walls that run no eWar worse yet If they run eWar, and we run eWar they can still see us within close proximities (more than the thickness of the wall you are hiding behind). Scout eWar is meant to be superior
Scout eWar is superior you have better range and precision especially after getting your passive eWar skills up. Hell, even my heavy benefits from it as it allows me to be invisible to another heavy that thought eWar was unnecessary.
