I have both a PS3 and PS4, but I don't know a ton of people playing PS4 , and everyone I know on PS3 has been playing Dust for the past couple weeks.
I'm excited for patch 1.10 just as much as the next guy, but this next patch for Destiny fixes a lot of issues that I've had with the game (major changes to the RNG system, smarter matchmaking for crucible, easier to level exotics, better raid experience, level 30 gear from vendors, etc)
Think what you like about Destiny, but they're attempting the first MMORPS and actually learning from mistakes they make in the process. The update/patch process is just like Dust, and all of these updates are free. $20 just gets you access to more loot, and a few additional missions and crucible maps. I've seen people pay more than that just to get ONE pizza delivered...

Leave your PSN name and console you'll be playing on, or just send me a friend request with your Dust name in the message ^^

First console MMORPS? (Planetside 2 is mostly pvp content yes?)
That's what I was thinking in my mind...since you know, there's almost everything under the sun when it comes to PC games.

Unless there is a consensus from a large number of media outlets that this expansion is the greatest thing since sliced bread and redeems this game from its mediocrity, I will spend my money on better things and better games.
The expansion brings nothing better to Destiny besides new content. It's the update that comes out at the same time as the expansion that I'm excited for...which is free.

I get their reasoning for not wanting it, but its lame. It doesn't prevent people from forming parties that would prefer it, it merely makes that part of their game inaccessible to those who can't find the time to make a raid party otherwise.
It would be one thing if there was some sort of a chat/lobby system similar to Dust, but the fact that creating a party of strangers requires you to add people through psn...
And the game didn't even ship with audio options, a staple in almost any game out there.
