It's called two extenders and a hardener coupled with a proto plate.
9-10K EHP with the -20% damage modifier shields natural get plus its 40% shield resistance...... yup I just ignore proto swarms as well, and AV nades, and forges, etc.
Oh and did I forget to mention its insane fitting capacity, 168 rep sec after 3-4 seconds, great mobility options, and ability to also fit a proto type turret.

The ones that take half a minute of sustained fire from AV to take down. But remember AV is totally overpowered and tankers are a beleaguered, persecuted minority thats totally not constantly agitating to maintain unfair balance conditions so they can farm kills with impunity. My suggestion is you create a vehicle alt if you havent got one already so you can fully explore just how brain dead easy it is to play as a tank in this game.
I'm going to stop you there for a minute and point out first and foremost that this is and issue yes, and that the only reason this is an issue is because shield HAV have a natural regenerations of 168 points of shield per second after a 4 second delay which means that they essentially get and Armour repper (but for shields) for free.
This was not always the case and I'd be more than happy to see that removed and retuned back to the constant 24 rep/sec it used to be which could only ever be buffed as high as maybe 50.
However and I have to point this out to Catmerc...... firstly he was using swarms. That's first mistake number one. I know he has anti shield options and the fact that he was not using the correct option for the HAV is partly why his attempts were bad.
Secondly I know he does have Plasma Cannon and a Gal Commando. I will also assume proficiency for his weapon, and a damage module to be safe. This really does add up the like the swarm launcher.
Sure currently it IS brain dead easy to play as a vehicle/tank pilot and that's something that tank pilots have been telling CCP and infantry that they HATE about tanking since 1.7 when wolfman did his thing.

I had my swarm launcher because I was mainly hunting a blaster madrugar that was annoying me. That gunnlogi was pinning down my ADS air support, so I tried to at least make him run. He didn't even care.
That's about right you are really seeing that 80/120 values vs Shield/Armour and in the current climate of HAV the Shield HAV does everything the old Armour HAV used to be able to do and its own role better. Another part of the reason most Shield HAV wont care is their natural passive regen which is currently too high if we could cut this down to a modifiable value around 24-30 damage applied to shield HAV will stay be more cumulative and require longer absences from the battlefield.
Another reason why a lot of interested parties are trying to push for vehicle rebalance and readjustment so that this can be prevented however in order to fix internal problems in the vehicles tree we need infantry to HTFU up for a month or two so we can get Rattati's ear.

Meanwhile any infantry including AV can be absolutely slaughtered by a tanker with any brains at all. Its still damn near invincible to AV if fitted well, even if it is food for any rail gunnlogi with a halfway decent fit.
AV sucks against vehicles, it sucks against infantry. The funniest part is that AV actually has a better chance of killing infantry than it does of killing vehicles, **** is completely backwards. Vehicles are completely dominant over infantry and can still beat the heck out of their in game counter (AV).
This is not balanced.
Until tankers start calling for vehicles that can actually be killed by AV as easily as vehicles can kill infantry, they will get zero respect from me. Yes if this happens vehicles should cost alot less. Yes it will be so sad that it doesnt take 3+ AV to take down a good tank. But it will be balanced.
Meanwhile I will continue to log on to my vehicle alt every few days to play a few games in my gunnlogi with my friends in my small turrets. Its boring to do it every day but it really is fun turning on god mode every now and then and run around one shotting everyone with the proto rail turret while any vehicle that comes against us gets absolutely wrecked by all our damage output and we rack up massive amounts of war points from all the absurd vehicle assists/kill assists/squad commendations system.
2 Enhanced extenders, 1 shield hardener (I think its enhanced), 2 rail turret ammo extensions, 2 adv. railgun turrets, 1 proto railgun turret, Im sure someone could make a better fit, but why bother when it demolishes everything that tries to fight it?
We've even beaten double gunnlogis coming at us in a game until they ragequit a few minutes in (I think they werent very good pilots though).
Tanks are a bad joke. The whole V vs. AV dynamic needs to be entirely overhauled with a new concept of how disposable vehicles are and how vehicles should be used.
As I've said before you are asking for something that cannot or will not happen until Rattati actually sits down and engages pilots and AV.... he said he might be doing this but currently there is no sign of this starting.
The trick as I see it is to allow HAV the flexibility and given the a role on the battlefield which allows then to engage other tanks, vehicles, and objectives as their primary focus and with a secondary focus on infantry units if threatened. We also need to know what kinds of skill tree and tiered variations/specialisations of Tank hulls we can expect before we can get to balancing properly.
Before we start talking EHP nerfs I'd rather approach HAV rebalancing by standardising mobility values, adjusting and slowing acceleration, adjusting their regenerative capacities (mainly so that damage applied stays applied for longer and so that is) heck even proper barrel sway would be nice.
In previous builds AV dealt less damage per shot and HAV had more EHP....yet AV dominated the field I want to find our what it was about the old pre 1.6 model and return to a V vs AV climate like that.

But you can make significantly cheaper ones these days. Pre 1.7 each tank was a 1.5-3 Million ISK investment (and that was bad ass!)

Indeed Gunnlogi's are imbalanced but primarily so because
a.) Too few AV options are anti Shield and no current options offer 2000+ damage values like the Forgegun does for armour HAV
b.) Passive reps are too effective right now.
c.) Their fitting capacity allows them to stack armour if they choose not to roll small turrets.
Which is why I am asking Rattati to consider adjusting these values when he starts to look at tanks. You'd be damn wrong to assume that there are pilots out there overlooking how powerful Gunlogi are right now. I want to bring armour HAV back into usability and bring Gunnlogi/ Shield HAV to and equally competitive level which functions differently to armour HAV.

Plasma Cannon is essentially the only other Anti Shield AV weapon.
Also for reference do Fluxes have their damage affected by shield hardeners or do they ignore them entirely?

Speccing into shield modules for vehicles is a good bargain, since almost every AV method is effective to armour. My shield tank has 4600+ HP and I can even get it to reach 5000+ and with this HP even plasma cannons can't really hurt me(At 5k hp it does barely a quarter of damage depending on the plasma cannon tier) It's actually a good thing, since the majority of AV methods are overpowered(it's also hard to fight infantry with MLT turrets and sometimes because the tank can't look down. If one isn't working, try another.) Plus, vehicles can keep the battle going in terms of distraction/ team defense/ anti- rooftopcamping as you can shoot DS down(good for rooftop camping and otherwise unfair) etc.
Hardener on it might to a quarter.... I kinda wish PLC did more damage for how tricky they are to use.

I've just compared the Kubo's to the current Allotek...... perhaps Plasma Cannons either need to function more like it with 2 shots, or simply be brought closer to its projectile damage.
If I am not wholly mistaken the Kubo's shoots a single projectile for rought 1651 and has a magazine size of 2.
With Proficiency and Galmando thats 2089 per shot unmodified, and against shields that's 2235.6 per shot.
Vs a 40% Hardener that is 1341.4 per bolt (2682.8 for both) Vs a 30% Hardener that is 1564.9 per bolt (3129.8 for both)
The alteration of Shield Hardeners from 40% to the old 30% value would certainly do wonders are reducing Shield HAV TTK but certainly does not resolve the issue completely.

I saw a tank like that relatively recently, shield tanked Gunnlogi had a Prof V Minmando Wyrkomi firing at it, a PLC on a Gallmando and an 80GJ Railgun firing at it...it just refused to die...might just have been bad hit detection/hit application server side (we did finally take it down with 3 simultaneous jihad jeeps...and then we called in an OB on where it died...just to be sure) Overkill is best kill.

The second issue is the guy simply pops out and deal with you is generally an hmg heavy if you're working alone and he is aware of you. As for the shield tank itself if you're using swarms you're only supplementary damage. If coordinating with other players position yourself in likely escape routes instead and hope your friends damaged it enough to get the killing shots. The idea is to pressure the sucker to death not to concentrate firepower. Ideally you want the anti infantry to open up and harass it down and force it to blow its modules and mag dump to deal with you and thats when your allied tank can then come into the picture and deal with it.
The general point of failure of taking this tank on is that people far too often come at it one at a time and the smart pilots behind the wheel tries to only engage one target at a time and resting between each engagement. Constant pressure and cutting off the chance to recover are the best bets.
If we only had a stasis webifier this tank fit wouldn't survive as easily.
Flux nades would do quite a bit and time them out instead of blowing them all in the first set of the engagement cook proper and throw to give the tank no room to drive away from the explosion.
Also if you're in a squad and the guy you're trying to kill is known for popping out of the tank.
Get your decoy to run out there and get him to bail out and then OB his ass or sick your best sniper as back up and hope you can down him before he hops back in. Also REs near exit points work as well (right side exit generally) just most pilots should know not to be stupid enough to get out if RE'ed. Though you do occasionally get them.
Another thing pilots love to do if they are RE'ed with even a single RE is run to their red line. This is also another place where you can set up one heck of an ambush if you control this zone.
All valid advice but 40% resists on one module is a bit much......

Anyone has any idea what he was running that he just ate my proto swarms for breakfast? I should add to Cat's post that at the same time I was shooting said tank with my Level 4 Python with an XT-1 Missile Launcher. He was repping through all the damage BOTH of us were putting on him.
That is not possible. Mechanics simply don't allow for that. What is possible is that you both reloaded giving him maybe 6 or so seconds and he could actually activate his passive regen.

That strawmanning and a poor attempt at it. All Tesfa suggest were that these were clever ways to put a tank out of position and off his/her guard not that these things were necessary.
Honestly if you struggle to take out an Armour tank these days you DO just suck at AVing..... Shields are a whole other can of beans that I hope Rattati addresses. Lord knows I've badgered him enough to fix them.
