"Math" is never really an equation or a science. It's a record of "relationships" between objects, that's all. But Dust 514 has this deliciously devilish component of "math" that sucks us into fixations and calculations, and causes us to lose so much gear on the battlefield because Dust's % factors don't match the common sense expectations we have in our heads.
Everyone is SO caught up in the bandwith saga, etc, that wwe are not noticing that finally in Patch 1.10 your fittings stats screen will include the vital "effective" profile/precision/signatures, and reflect the ACTUAL numbers Dust grants us after modules/bonuses are active. FINALLY.
Let's face it, when you take your 100,000 ISK fit-out onto the playground,... it doesn't matter what your calculator at home tells you the bottom number is. It matters only what actual number Dust is giving you. At least now we'll know what actual profile we're goin' out there with.
