MinScout "one type of build" purists will tell me that I'm doing everything wrong, but I have to disagree and state that everything regarding knifing for me has improved.

My Scout mk.0 runs two Ferroscales and one Reactive. It has 661 eHP and is still capable of sprinting at 8.22 m/s. Although I'm not dampened/cloaked nor anywhere near a sprinting speed of 10 m/s, my survivability and killing efficiency have gone through the roof.

This build purposely draws attention by firing at players with my main weapon, and as they chase after me expecting an easy kill, one charged swipe is often enough to put them down. If that fails, I can tank enough damage to bring out the trusty OP Creodron BrAR to finish them off.

I use to believe that eWAR and speed made for the best MinScout, but the downfall to a build centered around those attributes is the inability to tank even a little bit of damage. There literally is no room for error with such a fit. You either kill your opponent by the first two attempts or you're dead.

With plates, I can actually last in engagements at range. I can make mistakes in CQC. I can survive a slight trickle of an RR or HMG fire without dying in less than a second. Plate is love, plate is life.
