This is meant as a suit that is both as fast as a scout, as versatile as an Assault, as tanked as a commando and as devastating as a sentinel. which is exactly what my fit is except it has the bonus of invisibility on scans and the option of surviving 2, event 3 engagements

DeadlyAztec11 wrote:I use the ASCR because it is essentially a more precise AR with less dispersion in ADS and in hipfire. The visual recoil might be obnoxious, but that recoil is purely visual and doesnt reflect the true recoil pattern of the rifle.
I'm rather surprised- mostly I think it comes down to the fact that I have not been able to actually make the AScR work well for myself. Incidentally, the ADV and PRO variants actually deal the same damage (seriously, check it out in-game, they list the same 34.10 damage per shot on both weapons).
Any tips on making the AScR work well, on, say an Amarr Logi rig?
Oh, totally random thought, but have you thought about using the PLC instead of the AScR? I ask purely because the melee animation of the PLC is a straight-up left hook, rather than the canted butt strike common among most of the light weapons (IIRC only the shotgun and RR/ARR have a proper butt strike animation).
DeadlyAztec11 wrote:I chose the Assault Scrambler Pistol because it allows me to use my trigger finger to devastating effect.
I use two Laser based weapons because I love the Scrambler Pistol and its ability to completely destroy any suit no matter how tanked with either armor and/or shields.
Just touching on the sidearm choice for a moment, but it's been my experience that once you can get used to the firing rhythm of the traditional Scrambler Pistol, then it ends up being a bit better than the assault variant- you have a relatively marginal decrease in firerate in exchange for ~50% more capacity and roughly 20% more damage.
It also costs less ISK, CPU, and PG to fit. Plus, the LP/AUR variant has a gorgeous gold-chased look to it.
And I definitely agree on the "ScP wrecks stuff" bit- when I mostly preferred the ARR for my AmLogi I generally carried a scrambler pistol as my backup, and I can't tell you how many times it saved my bacon.
Because those dirty scout scrubs can't have my bacon. It's mine.
Arkena Wyrnspire wrote:By using 2x kincats and 3x reactives I was able to get better results on a Galassault.
I think the main failing of the GalSalt using the same mods is that it lacks the stamina and stamina regen necessary for sprinting at people and then repeatedly punching them in the face.
That said it would probably have a slight speed edge and definitely a regen edge.

You call that an AK.0 fit ? It's an embarrassment compared to mine. Try :
757 Armor and 20 HP/S
An X3 Nanohive
C7 Flux
Any Proto / Officer Light Weapon You Want
2 Damage Mods
and an ADV Submachine Gun M12 I think ??? |

I had a Carthum Assault Scrambler Rifle, but I changed it because Darth's Gio-66 Scrambler Rifle held a too appropriate name for my class.

My class has nearly twice the sprinting speed of yours plus double the melee, and only a hundred less armor. My class is devastating against multiple enemies in Close Quarters particularly against light suits who tend to be killed easily by one of my punches and heavies who tend to be too slow to move away from my melee.
