How much ISK do you have?
What do you do to mock the poor?
Why do you think them haters be hatin?
I personally like to crash Dropships into lone players. Of course I wear my most expensive Suit while doing so.
And cashless mongrels, please keep mailing me about my Prototype Suits and...
....Wow... ...So much competitive hatred. I don't normally contribute to these kinds of threads (they're kinda like what people use facebook/twitter for often... not to bring up a real discussion topic, but just to sheepishly put out at the side-door something they haven't the confidence enough to say at the front-door ). But once in a while, okay, I'll contribute.
I have over 110 million ISK, which is NOT very much by view that I've been at Dust for 20 months (but may be considered alot by the view that I seldom use a gun, and drive a transport DS all the time). Under my circumstances, I fully expect (and encourage) new players to catch me up and pass my "wealth level".
I seldom mock the poor (LOL, I need passengers on my vehicle, and if I mocked the players who are in the most need of rescue and assistance on the maps, I'd have an empty bus!)
Seriously though, Miku, my social theory about "hatemailers" is that they aren't concerned about you hampering their match-wins, or your proto-gear advantages, or any imagination that your wealth is killing them on the battlefields. I have repeatedly had these "advantages" on other players, or worked repeatedly with squadleaders who had these advantages on other players,... and none of us ever got hatemail after slaughter-scoring or topping the board in a match.
One certain type of person is --so competitively fixated on the who's got top on the match Kill/WP board; --or gets fixated on seeking revenge upon "the girl who railed my HAV twice" that he impales himself obcessively into her rail-fire 4 more times in one match and dies repeatedly; --or gets the fixated belief that you targeted her personally because you waited and mowed her down every time she respawned at the same spot... ...that one of these three reasons will trigger that type of person to send you a 'crap-you-hope-you-choke!' letter.
I firmly believe it's only these 3 reasons that drive hate-maling. Playing games like this isn't calming THEIR competitive temper problem--it's making it worse. When you ever get hate-mail, I don't believe you have cause to brag---the mail isn't really proving much about your playing skills, just saying something about the opponent player.
And I also believe that if you post a forum/tweet/facebook about the hatemail you got, it tells the hatemailer he got the effect on you he was hoping for.
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...
