What im trying to prevent is people just making suits designed to use the cheapest tactics to win. I want this to be entertaining not someone sitting in a corner with a 4 damped gal suits with a proto cloak waiting for someone to run by just to shotgun them.

Instead of apex put a militia fitting, same modules and stuff, it would be nice

There no way to enforce or see the modules equipped, that is the problem someone could bring in a proto type scrambler rifle with triple damage mods. and there is no way of knowing.

I want to try to keep everyone in the same baseline fits for now to keep the odds even fitting wise.

Can you see players guns that they are wielding in game, just like you can aim at turret on a tank and see what it is?

but then there are problems with modules. no way to check those. I want to avoid all out hiding in a corner tactics, or max roof top camper. You can win this way if you fit your suit properly and do a **** ton of damage to people below you but part of the reason i want keep it apex suits is to avoid that. I don't see the interest in just having some guy on the rooftop all match with 3 complex damage mods charging a scrambler rifle. All apex suits are general combat fit and not very specified. So you can still on the a rooftop but you won't do as much damage.


With apex you know that whatever you are running the opponent is running the exact same thing. This way it kind of evens out some of the fittings complication for people and you can just focus on slaying.



I don't want this to really turn into a who can stack the most damage mods and pick people off while they run by competition, i want to see what people can do with the prefit suit given to them.

Just institute random checks by way of Eve OB drop. Any one killed by an Eve OB is free to spawn in and their fit is now public knowledge.

Also no vehicles makes it a risky move to try to get a suit like you are talking about into position.

There are going to be dropships for transportation. And people will be deployed or spawned on the highground. I don't mind people being there and fighting there its just that i don't want full gank suits camping there.

All you guys are talking about spectating. Why not participate? I want to see no name players wreck established A-listers.

Go out and play FW to get Apex suits i currently have no immediate plans to stand down on the apex rule.

Also, it seems the sentinel apex suits will have the most advantageous positions during combat since they don't need to worry about scans.
