Surely someone has brought this up before. With all the changes being made this can't be that hard. Something similar to BF3 where before you spawn in you can have it automatically put you in a squad or spawn solo. I don't want to go through the work to squad up (yes is part laziness on my part) with someone and then have to wait til they chose to start battle and hope they don't play for a faction you don't want, etc, etc....
I don't need to be teathered to the same people in battle and out (unless you find a good group you want to stick with), but simply a "place in squad" function in battle screen. Just play one match and part ways.
I don't squad usually because I have a lot going on around the house and only sit down for a game or two at a time and its more of a hassle to "lfs" and wait, then hope the person plays game mode you want. Only planning on staying for a match or two then disbanding. Or if I want to leave I have to go through motions to get out of squad.
The whole process is kind of a hassle for the people who just want a "one time only" leisurely squad experience and go about their business. It might allow more people to make more connections they otherwise wouldn't make due to the few times trying to squad, you don't have the experience you are looking for and eventually don't even bother anymore.
An example is like the time I used the squad finder, got put into a squad of people who just rode around in a tank the whole match getting kills, not even pushing people off or guarding a point but just riding around shooting randoms. That wasn't fun and the 20min i had to sit and shoot people was wasted. I ended up hopping out of tank and doing my usual trying to take a point solo.
Make it easier to auto squad, one game only, if you like who you got paired with then you can send inv for the usual squad system.
Is this a decent or do-able idea, Or am I just crazy as usual? |

I think having a few options can greatly improve the level of strategic squad based play. Auto squad Auto squad for one match Auto squad with / without mic |

It would be smart for people to always be squaded up.
But then there's me w/o a bluetooth cursing the idea to its core.
Squads only work well if you can communicate. Since many people DONT have the tiny little 30$ POS Bluetooth, IT will just **** the hell off those who dont, forcing us to listen to your babble about that Cloak Scout who offed you, without the ability to tell you to STFU and get on with it.

You can actually turn of communication in your squad. |

I believe in a simple rule, no voice no squad. If you're not able to communicate with your squad you're just another blueberrie for me and you'll probably get kicked at the end of the match in case I'm squad leader. Many players share my opinion

Eh If your just arguing for the sake of arguing fine, just don't use the option if it is ever implemented. I just think it would help group random blueberries together if they should like.
Guess I'll forever run solo, not a problem I do really well solo. I don't use comms out of courtesy to other players. You don't want to hear me randomly scream profanities in your ear as my kids are rollerblading through the damn livingroom, do you? Prob no more than i want to hear your fapping noises in surround sound through my headphones.
I'll click on the mic if i really need to tell you something, but you and your no mic no squad rule is just the wrong way to go about it. If thats your attitude I don't want to squad with you anyway. Here I am trying to be courteous and I'm the one getting punished for it.
Either way, hey if this is too steep of a task, or a legitimately bad idea, forget I said anything. Everyone wants to push the team aspect of this game, I figured a small option in the battle deployment screen, would help break the ice.
Sorry for my coffee and wacon bacon mini rant, I'll throw in a few of these, to lighten the mood. |

Squadding up usually increases my performance, even if I'm the only one in the squad who is using a mic (and I honestly don't say much anyway).
If everyone is communicating than there is an even greater rise in performance, but even if no one talks I usually end up doing better.
