I have read some complaints that armor has a better rep than shields, due to shields being active and armor being passive.
So what if CCP flipped the values and made shields slow and low, but passive, and armor high and fast but active (delayed)?

Commando A/1-Series, approach with caution.
Or just run away screaming.
It is not advised to attack unless in Sentinel.

EVE Online is what you get when engineers attempt to create "fun" without consulting someone who comprehends the word.

No point! I was expecting "hell no" or "sure", and such :( (the bigger picture was to find out if people, really think passive reps are superior [for another thread], a plan which has horribly failed so far)

So what if CCP flipped the values and made shields slow and low, but passive, and armor high and fast but active (delayed)? not quite true however armor can get more armor hp AND up to 30hp/s rep where shield suits are maybe 500ish tops cause they gotta fit 2 shield rechargers and 2+regulators to rep their shields up fast while behind cover
hell i think you could make a 43 ot 45hp/s armor tanked gal assault with like 500ish armor and 300ish shield so no.. armor tanking is more about maxed cores for effective tanking

That second fit you mentioned would be pretty slow and kinda sucky if brawling at cqc, good fit with a rail, BUT if CCP drops the strafing nerf that fit will be amazing since speed won't matter.
Shields requires a preemptive thought on how you will use your suit, for example if you want to brawl you will stack regulators and sholields and less energizes, if you want to be at long range you will dual tank with armor reps and maybe one regulator, but for shields there is never really an omni fit but very great specialized fits.

It would screw the heavies and as an assault I'd have to say nty. I hate heavies but I'd rather them not be the new assaults.
