But ML is always here, sometimes good sometimes not so much. But we've been able to do what very few have been able to do. Which is to stay active, keep plugging in players into PC, and avoid big ups and downs.
This is the war room, there hasn't been much of this bantering back and forth in some time and I'd say it's a welcome change. That said, talk all you want but we'll still be here in a few months. I'll be very, very surprised if you guys are. Hopefully I'm wrong, but you guys aren't strong enough to avoid losing and you've filled your ranks with people that have a long history of folding under pressure and pointing fingers. That's just the cold hard truth.
I give credit where credit is due, you've held land for most of your existence, however you guys are mainly doing practice battle with EXTREMELY weak corps, It's not like FA has been gunning for your ass the whole time and you've been holding them off. Some of your players are true vets who have been in PC as long as any of us, but your team as a whole is lackluster just like most after FF, the only difference is after that happened you had great eve support and an even better ground alliance to keep you guys ticking. Good on you, its more than just right time right place to be in the top alliance, but its certainly no feat of skill on the battlefield.
However credit is not given where it is due to ToP. Was VU taken out of PC? I think not. We still had more than enough districts to give them away to all of our friends and still have enough left to transfer to what we were building next.
Instead of going inactive in PCs or dropping out of any real wars when our leadership is pressed with real life, we restructure in order to accommodate that. This means switches in leadership, even switching tags at times. But no one here points fingers. No one was blaming each other and raging. We stick together as a group, we keep our core intact at all times, and at the end of the day we win our battles.
In reality, most of this naysay about corp will fall apart if we lose battles is wishful meta nonsense. Some of our players have a history. More of them don't. Which corp among us here will say they are comprised of only loyal vets with year+ long tags?
None. In truth, there's very few people left who have stuck where they started, and that rings true for both sides.
