I was ingame just now and I saw on my local chat that Jadek was having a trivia contest to win isk. I responded and he invited me to a private room with other people.

He said there was an entrance fee of 50k per question and each game had 10 questions. So I thought.. 500k.. that is not so bad. I won't lose much if it is a scam. He was going to give the entire pool to the winner. so I played and it was fun. I didn't win but I came close... (I used google, I admit) He did not scam me with that... Not yet at least.

We played for a couple hours and played a few games. We would change up the rewards and prices and bets. It was fun... we played other games like a lotto game. If we guess the right number then we win the isk.. Okay well one of the guys in the room was being super rude and mean. He was acting a little racist too. So Jadek and I are messaging and he is saying that he is so annoyed by that rude player and asks me if I want to help scam him. I say "okay let's do it".

Jadek then says he will do one final trivia question but wants to end the night big. He asks everyone for 25 mill with a total payout of 500 mill. He told me that I had to send my isk too because he was taking pics to catelogue it and post about it later. So he wanted to provide proof that he was not scamming and was really paying out... He messaged me the trivia question and answer.

Well he took his sweet time talking and talking then he just asked the trivia question except he said a different question!!!!! Not the one he said he was going to say and he took my isk. After that 3 of the players in the room logged off!!!! Me and the other guys in the room were there like wtf... he made the same deal with one of the other guys in the room too!!!

I can't believe it. I thought jadek was trustworthy.

If you know anything about Dust, you would know through its forums that Dust is connected to Eve Online which is infamously known throughout the MMO industry as the Mos Eisley of the MMO world. If people are allowed to scam and be scammed in Eve, then you should expect the same in Dust. The only exception to this are any scams involving PlayStation Network codes. Beyond that, you're screwed.

I knew that people in New Eden (ground pounders included) weren't to be trusted before I even played either EVE or Dust, they have a reputation for this kind of thing.

The Devs won't care if you are scammed (unless it has to do with faulty game mechanics), and neither will most of the players.

But I'll tell you what, If you give me your remaining Interstellar Kredits I will double it.

at the end of the day it's just a video game but you have to be a real slimy, ******* dirtbag piece of **** to constantly do this
