This thread gives me many lulz. The OP is taking a hit for making Jadek Menaheim look more clever and dedicated to teh schemes than he really is.

Is the OP Jadek's alt playing mind games...how much time could one person have?

In the eyes of an Eve Online player, this is actually a great way to get started.

Jadek's schtick is that "he is the only honest scammer in New Eden." The oxymoronic statement is actually quite true.

To my knowledge, his lottery 'scams' are indeed quite real. Well, honest is the better term. By actively saying "hey guys, it's a scam!" he gets people that come in not because they are looking to make a quick buck but because they think they can cheat the system for their benefit. This is EXACTLY what happened with Evolution-7 when he messaged Jadek about rigging the lottery so that Evolution-7 would get the Templar Code while Jadek got the money (or vice versa).

Jadek, being the honest scammer, said "I don't think that would be a good idea. But I DO think it would be a good idea for you to buy 15 million worth of tickets so that this exchange does not get made public." Naturally, Evolution-7 was skeptical and responded "You will tell everyone anyway" to which Jadek, again telling the truth, said "You are absolutely correct. Would you like to buy 15 million worth of tickets anyway?"

The story you are telling seems to be pretty close to what I would expect from him; honest scamming. He probably would have continued to doing the trivia as per normal if you would have replied "No, that wouldn't be right." He hasn't tried the same thing with me but I expect that he has tried to tempt me to 'betray' my corporation to get a hefty sum of tickets in the current lottery. That might be all he has attempted to do first but if I gave in there, then maybe it would be something else and again and again until I was hoisted on my own greedy petard. Being only slightly greedy, I write fiction about my friend who has done the 'infiltration.'

I don't know Jadek but I do know the (supposedly true) story of why he started the lottery 'scam' beyond "I thought it would be interesting." As creative and artistic as Jadek is, I don't think he could create a tale that was as simple and 'boring' as 'the truth.' But the poetic irony of scamming the scammer? Oh, yes, I can see him doing that.

By the way, Jadek, where is my cut? I know you needed 10 million seed money but I am starting to get a little nervous. (Yes, this is a joke. No, I am STILL not a Jadek alt.)

Again, this all assumes that the OP is being serious. Or isn't a Jadek alt. Yes, Jadek would make an alt to tell everyone he is a cheater.
