I've always hated the mas driver since the day I started playing dust. It seems that the people that use it simply can't miss or that my suit has a magnet for their ammo. Anyway, I decided to skill up into the minmatar commando suit just to try something different but, mostly to have a suit with higher ehp. In hindsight maybe I should had skilled into the minmatar assault but since I already have 2 scouts it seemed redundant. Anyways, that is neither here nor there. The commando with some practice seems promising with its close to 800ehp and that combat rifle damage bonus (me like that part). So, I decided to put a mass driver as a secondary. I like the fear factor it instill. You shoot two or 3 rounds of that thing and people scramble like chickens with their heads cut off. This I like. What I don't like is that I can't seem to hit the side of a barn with this thing or at least not kill people with it. Granted it is at level 1. I think I killed two guys a day ago with one shot but, that was unintentional. I was just trying to destroy some links and all of a sudden two people died. Had I planned it I would had not killed them . Sooooooo, what is the trick to using this thing? i keep hearing from people that use it that it is the best thing since sliced bread. I see it as a very promising weapon but, I wonder if I would be better of with something else like say a shotgun or even a breach AR to complement armor and shield damage. Still combat rifle with mass drive combo seems good if only I could use the darn thing.
