How this board will be managed?
I mean, what happen, when developers accept a card? Reject it? How they contact the author if they need more info? Will it be label based (green - approved, black - rejected) or good cards simply stay on board and bad will be removed? If we will not know this things it will be just another place to write without feedback, I want to avoid it.
Also, it it already quite messy, as people write their own comments againts rule No. 3. I added a card to General list to allow voting for cards. Maybe we need new rule that we must create a forum link to be able to discuss every card, while keeping only structure of all ideas in Trello.
Board admins should check and backup this board from time to time (especially for the first time), as someone already modified red Header cards.

So, Trello board is a great step from forum based to issue tracker based issue management system. However, this is only step, not the final goal. Trello is good for short, immediate list of tasks, but you will see soon, that it will be overwhelmed. Players can add their thoughts constantly and you physically can not process them all. So I advise to move to solid issue tracker ASAP. This will bring many benefits:
- Easy issue management with tags. You can assign multiple tags to an issue. For example, "Vehicle Infantry ammo supply module" can be tagged as "Vehicle" and "Equipment and modules". Another example: "Vehicle swarm lock-on warning" can be labeled as "Vehicle" and "Weapons".
Then you can filter any number of issues based on tags in any way you want. This is quite different to Trello labels which indicate state of a card while single card group determined by a list.
- Sorting by votes. Trello can not sort cards by votes at the moment. Issue tracker can.
- Issue states. You can indicate what state issue currently in. This is a great type of feedback as everyone can see what is accepted by developers already and what is not.
Trello can manage this with labels, however, we still have no legend for card states at this board.
- Ease of authentication. You can easily use same PSN login authentication and avoid manual addition of people to Trello board.
- Wider audience. With previous feature you can get much more feedback from possibly all players (not only focus group) in much more structured form. This is the ultimate goal of issue tracker.
I think you stick to forum based approach only because of habit. Please save positive momentum generated by Trello and improve your quality of communication with customers introducing issue tracker.

Ok, now to labels and cleanup. As you see, cards are incoming and you have to do something with it. As I said earlier, Trello is good for small immediate list of tasks, but you can not use it as an infinite mana source. The more cards are here the more messy things become.
This mess can lead to duplicates and decrease of activity (both developers and players), because it will be harder and harder to navigate through the board. Clearly this it not either side want to happen.
If you just sit and count votes this board will be dead in not time. Players want a feedback. So I propose a workflow to keep things running:
- Use labels for player cards.
Here is the sample coloring for labels: Black - card is read and understood by developers. Yellow - card idea is in development. Green - card idea is implemented and deployed.
Though it is only backlog and we neither see nor affect actual list of developer tasks, we want to know that you read our cards to sleep well. If we will not know it we will think: "What is the purpose of this board if nobody read my ideas?" And eventually people will stop to place new cards and board will stagnate. At forum people at least can bump theit threads, but this is not the case for Trello.
- Clear unnesessary cards.
I don't know exact criteria to this, but you can, for example, clear the board every release (Gùú_Gùó) and ask players again what they want to see in nearest future. This is bad for long-term ideas, but maybe you can separate it to another board.

double bump
I've started coloring my own cards based on recommendations above, as well as marking any Green Cards (already implemented) i've come across. |

I don't think cards should be labeled by players, my intentions are addressed to CCP. Right now there are unwanted duplicates of existing work items, providing unnecessary mess to already messed the board.
