Is there any particular reason as to why those of us in the UK have to pay significantly more than players in the US for add-ins such as aurum?
To buy 100k aurum costs a UK player almost 8% more than someone in the US.
An elite pack costs over $25 more in pounds sterling.
After waiting on the packs finally appearing in the EU store, and having worked out which I could buy, I'm really annoyed to find out that I also need to pay a premium to get them, which means I can't afford them. |

Partly, VAT (Value Added Tax) is 20% that is automatically added onto the cost of an item, so say you buy a CD, the manufacturer works out the cost plus profit margin but then also has to add on the 20% to cover VAT cost that the Gov takes from them. also the pound is pretty strong against the dollar so things in the U.S are 'cheaper' because of the good exhange rate but from a business end of things the prices set are about the same as other global companies, again though that is still down to the taxes n crap the UK government puts on our stuff
But it's not an item, it's a bit of computer code

Quit your bitching . Do you even know how much AU and NZ players have to pay? 100,000 Aurum is the equivalent of something like $60-70
I'm not bitching, I genuinely wondered if there was a reason. |
