There is probably due to the lack of enemies, as it seems that The State Peacekeepers are always fighting the Federation, and I'm not entirely sure that there are even a significant number of Amarr Imperial fighters.

yup same. i've taken to just afk'in while watching tv, i'm averaging a 40min episode per deployment atm 
had 3 x boosters running since tuesday afternoon with just under 5k lps a win and after about 14hrs of both afk and active playing i'm at 60k lps because its taking almost an hour between games (both squaded and solo)

Last night there was a game every 5-10 minutes, from 01:00GMT until 09:30GMT when most people state side had gone to sleep. Tonight was ridiculous though, I've been online for 5 hours and I've had four games. What is that about?! Squads should NOT get priority, it's called a queue for a reason. |

The problem isn't really "not enough people Queue for Amarr".
It's actually the entire opposite- there's too many people that queue for Gal/Min, due to a variety of factors. I've elaborated on some these, and others have offered additional reasons as to why this is.
But in the end, more people pick the Gal/Min side- either for gear, RP, or both.
Not nearly as many people have an interest in Amarr gear- or it's only very particular items- and even fewer actually have the inclination to RP-support the Amarr.

Sorry, but I call rubbish on that. I was in a full squad and referring to my earlier post, the delays were ridiculous. |

I do FW for everyone but Amarr mainly because they don't have anything on the loyalty store that I want to buy, so to fight for Amarr is just a waste of my time and ISK. However, I'm beginning to use more cardiac regulators, so I may start fighting for Amarr as well.
I'm don't care who I fight for, just as long as the payment is worth it to me. Imperial Guard LP are of little to no value to me, so I don't have a reason to fight for the Imperial Guard, although I honestly wish I did (maybe if a small laser turret becomes a thing in Dust).
