rob cap lad Crux Special Tasks Group Gallente Federation 5	Posted - 2014.12.03 19:59:00 - [1] - Quote for a long time lavs have been a bit weak i think you ccp guys should give them more pg and cpu or an extra slot on each variant for example i use my laves for killing with the small rail. well it takes 2 volleys to destroy my lav and well my top price lave is now like 180k isk im not bothered by the price im just asking for a small buff as for like you bid with std dropships. give the lavs ether more speed so we can out run swarms or more pg and cpu and a extra slot because currently lavs are well a little easy to kill i know this because i do both vehicle and av between my alts i can even destroy a saga in 1 lock on volley. also the lavs mainly the mathana struggles to even climb a small hill. im sure theirs many people who will agree with me even if they use lav as a transport vehicle getting troops in and out of hot spots oh yea there should also be transport assist in all vehicle who travel troops in and out. supp buds if you need a logi or av guy you came to the right place mail me if u do rob cap lad

Spend skill points. yea i already have over 20mil sp in vehicles and like all my fittings is into turrets Armour Shields fitting and other vehicles fitting thing its still pretty weak. i have even maxed my rep and Armour comp and my all my turrets are nearly maxed fear my blasterbuss

Hell I just got hatemail eariler today because the enemy team fielded a lot of proto heavies and proto assaults without any AV and deployed themselves in the middle of a field. So like any true gentlemen I gave them all rides on my front bumper. Got one of those "YOU USE LAV ROADKILLS GIT GUD SCRUB!" mails. Because you know it's my fault they didn't field so much as a militia swarm launcher.

This is true, if LAVs could actually hit targets with their turrets while in motion like warthogs do then LAVs would be a lot more common and lauded probably. All vehicles have issues with targeting when moving quickly though so I'm pretty sure it's one of those core programming mechanics that got borked when the game was in development and Rattatai probably won't be able to realistically fix anytime soon. Not enough Devs actively working on this game for serious code changes me thinks. We will have to live with poor motion firing and crazy bumpy terrain/getting stuck on hills.

You gotta listen for their engine noises, and when you hear one around check to see if its friendly or an enemy LAV. They have to put the REs on the front bumper to effectively jihad you so if you hit that front bumper you have a good chance to make them suicide. It helps if you can back pedal diagonally as it minimizes the surface area they need to ignite that powder keg. Gotta play cautious with tanks yo! Deathtraps everywhere... My favorite would be re enacting Saving Private Ryan with a Rail Methana and my Mine field logi. I lay proxies in a narrow road and harrass a HAV until it has to chase me (Because you really can't ignore small rails forever.) I just give the rabbit a chase and hope they aren't paying attention when the beep beeps warn them of their death. If they back off away from the mines then I just keep harrasing them. This tactic wrecks a lot of blaster madrugars as they will typically fuel inject to try and catch you so they won't have time to react to the beeping when they blow themselves up. If they destroy the mines then I just do what LAVs do best and gtfo back to a supply depot in our red line and change strategies.
