He basically said that instead of replacing it on the APEX Galmando, it would be better to make the Burst more worthwhile.

What's it got now? I want to say 4 shots but I also want to say 5. Anyways bump it back up to 7 like it used to be or at least tell people that you did and watch the "burst is OP" threads roll in.

The Apex Gal assault on the other hand is freaking awesome if you've maxed the skills that effect it.

Please focus less on shots per burst, and look more at the damage profile. The advanced rifle is doing 10% less damage than the prototype one. And the Federation one is doing 27% less dps then it is supposed to (you already acknowledged that one). Honestly, I prefer the three round burst as it is easier to remain on target throughout the whole burst.

Been using the burst on the Galmando and it's honestly not that bad, but it does need a bit more punch. Be careful with it, however; it's got very little kick in ADS. A breach-like buff could make it really nasty.

Yeah it's not far away from balanced - advanced BuAR + cmpx damage mod is already fairly beastly. Even in it's current 'UP' state it lets me be stupid with heavies and get away with it.

I've said this before but
Combat Rifle = 3-shot burst, short delay between shots
Burst AR = 5-shot burst, longer delay between shots

That and the fire intervals within the burst itself are too far apart.
This is where I feel the Burst Assault Rifle Falls short.
CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.

I personally have no issues with the HD on my burst I sometimes run, but I also never notice the "terribad framerate" either.

Burst AR is fine as it is IMO. The real problem with it is that it's overshadowed by weapons like the Breach AR. There's very little incentive to use it for the casual players since the Breach sacrifices very little compared to the Burst while being full auto and having higher DPS and less kick/dispersion.
I'll post a video later today showing it off for the people who think it sucks.
