i constantly use the breach AR. I can assure you there is no problem with it. sure it destroys people. BUT ONLY WITHN 40M. 50m has decent damage and 60m is next to nothing. please don't change its stats.
if people thought the breach AR is bad then why can they react to being attacked by it?.
I see assault combat rifles everywhere and they kill my 198 shield and 457 armour or even my proto gall asssult with 198/587. the assault combat's ROF coupled with its high/decent damage per shot can quickly out dps the breach ar. lets not forget the +10/-10 for the ar vs shields and armour. compared to I belive its. -5/+10 for the combat rifle (could be wrong might be -10/+10 with the RR)
and lets not get started on the scram rifle. (looking at you charged shot) the charged shot on any scram rifle is more than capable of dropping an opposing ammarr assault/gall assault straight to half armour and can follow up with rapid shots to finish the job. damage profile I belive is +10/-20 (could be wrong also) don't use laser weapons often enough.
lets not forget the optimal ranges either. ar has best damage from 0-40. the combat rifle is best at 20-60. scr rifle at 40-80(really should be 60 or 70. the shot isn't even rendered at 80m its dissipitated) and the rr at 60-100. then their damages begin to each falloff. AR has the worst damage falloff and is really only effective at 50m. can kill past 60m but requires large amount of rounds to pull off being close enough not even to bother. the combat rifle has some really good damage falloff. able to deal damage effectively up to 70m without to much damage loss. scr rifle dosnt lose any damage. just disappears at 80m. RR really dosnt need it given its range. still kills at 110-120.
so if the breach ar was so bad or the AR in general was so good and ''OP'' then why is the majority of rifles used still combats (slowly becoming assault combats) and scram rifles? maybe their not used to the AR being so effective and useful in its own range?. or perhaps juyst hate to die in a shooter. or as I like to reference dust as a futuristic war simulator. :P
still. leave the breach ar alone. cant us gallente have a balanced weapon/varients left as is.
