Could we have a new stat on our Character Sheet: War Point/match ratio?
K/D is a horrible judge of a dedicated logi's effectiveness. Their war points are their indicator of badassery. This would be a useful metric for those of us who hack installations and destroy hostile equipment more than we slay.

I think it's an excellent metric because while the logi is not supposed to do a lot of killing, per se, he/she shouldn't be dying excessively either. That would be detrimental to the team.

True. Nonetheless, if you got 1000 WP but died 12 times I'm not sure you really were a net positive. It's not that hard to not die a dozen times.
I'm not that good, and have spent 99% of the time in this game in ADV or STD suits and I manage to not get killed more than 5 times the vast majority of the time. My guess is if you looked at every battle I've ever been in, I went 3-4/4 with 1000 WP or so on average... I've played since beta, not hardcore or anything, but 45 million SP and have only been killed about 7000 times last I checked.

I like K/D. I also like WP/D. Why not have both?
While you are at it A/D (assists per death) would be cool. I'm definitely in the top 10 gamewide in that stat. |
