OCEANIC was closed because of a complete failure of CCP to fix AFK isk farming.
Who was to blame?
Asians.
This meant that the 4 major regional Australian corps instapopped.
Now the very far and few between Australian Veterans have to deal with on average between 12 and 16 afk isk farming asians on Tokyo (aka Australian) automatic, because Tokyo is just north of Sydney apparently. You will see at least 1 full squad of afk isk farmers on Tokyo Automatic EVERY MATCH.
I've been saying for 2 years it's an endemic and catastrophic failure of CCP.
This still stands.

Blaming asian/oceanic players for afking is dead wrong. Most EU and US players send their afk characters there in order to not litter their own servers. Cool down and consider that.
considering you meed to have your client in Australia / Asia to deploy into Tokyo automatic yeah it's considered. Idiot.

Setting server preference to automatic does not guarantee games without off-region players. Players can force the server by setting the region to a certain one.
