Ive always played this game with the mentality of "yah its broke, but its a work in progress" and so ive delt with the imbalance, the poor design, the bugs, and the complete lack of learning from mistakes made with EvE online. Ive lived with it all becuasse i could see the progress the game was making and believed it would make progress.
i just cant appoch the game with that mindset anymore. all progress has halted and nearly everything is set in stone.
Its really difficult to get behind the game now and i can only ever play a few matches before i give up for the day.
Not to mention the MU matchmaking seems to think im a god and places me against a que sinqed team with all militia teamates, wich isnt all bad as its an excuse to don a militia suit and laugh as the "bring PC crap into pub matches" crowd gets harrassed by a guy in militia gear endlessly but it really does get old.
CCP you killed the hope people had for the game, rekindle it or the games just going to slowly decay.

shuffling numbers and tweaking tiny things while it does help isnt quite the same. i have a bunch of respect for rattati for bridging the gap that exsisted between devs and players and for giving everything hes got towards giving this game a fighting chance.
the problem is that its too late, if he was on the original dev team it would be a different story, but theres only so much hes alowed to do now.

every time i take a break the game declines, the player numbers decrease, the dev team gets smaller.
and theres only one dev left...

As an above average player that plays SOLO most of the time. I know EXACTLY how that feels.Somehow Scotty thinks of me equally powerful as a 6 man squad on proto gear.... LOL @ Scotty.

Stop being so butthurt, it's so obvious that you just got stomped, and you can't handle the fact that your precious, precious K/D took a knock.
i dont care about K/D i care about fun.
1 vs 16 can be fun but most oftin isnt.
i dont actually know what my K/D is.
i dont really thrive in 1v1 or 1v12 scenarios, i thrive when i can use teamates to my advantage (or leverage my ability to make my teamates more effective)
stomps kinda remove my team from the equation and therefor remove the fun as well. i just end up stuck in a harassment role pullinng 3-4 members of the enemy team out of position over and over again to deal with me, creatinng massive openings that never get capitolised on becuase my team is gone.
checkmates kinda average from my level of the playing field, he leverages gear to much and doesnt have the disposition for the solo work he seems to do alot of.
to compair, your fighting a 1v1, im playing chess with every member of my team, and im rarely the king or queen in that equation. stomps reduce me to a single pawn vs an entire full bored against me, and sure i can mess around and remove some pieces from play but ide much rather play with a full board.

some advice to help you solo then. dont try to win on gun game, constantly try to geet your oponent to make mistakes, extend to far, reload at the wrong time etc etc etc. and capitalise on those tiny mistakes to edge out a victory. imm always trying to isolate people away from the action/scans/squad support when stuck in that kind of situation so that i can take them apart piece by piece by forcing themt o make mistakes.
