this image was taken on that map with the socket with the cap point surrounded by 2- high buildings that get clear vantage to the cap point meaning first one to cap and roof camp = win.

Players are not really exposed to fire fights the ttk is so low in this game and many believe that k/d matters because it is tracked so they are afraid to push in. The pubs do not use the buddy system because this is not a fire fight style game it is a insta gib style game which makes the buddy system a liability that may expose you to a shotgun scout, and it is the reason there are so many red line snipers tankers. This is not something that will change period the devs are not willing to balance scouts or light weapons.
So many times you end up short handed because of red line afkers and in many cases squads don't even know how to make a push for the same reasons above.

notice how SCR is now back near the top as an op weapon? its still too strong vs armor buffer even with its -20% vs armor.
BAR.. well with the RR no longer king of the rifles the buffed BAR was next best choice.
core locus.. may be even more OP then pre-pre-nerf SCR... 7.20m blast radius.. and despite its 600 dmg its only supposed to do time and again i have been OHK'd by core locus for 800-960 damage which is still even more then the 20% explosive damage profile should do.. and this is vs SHIELD+ARMOR not just ARMOR

The RR nerf has been reduced which makes it probably the second strongest rifle second to the CR. The profiles of both the CR and RR are absolute profiles which means that there damage profiles are net positives in almost all applications which would be fine if the mechanics to balance them worked, but sadly the CR has no balance mechanics with the strongest profile, and the RR is buffed well above the usefulness of its balance mechanics.
The scout suits really make balance impossible because no other suit can match its effectiveness with light weapons so the game is balanced around scouts. I use the sg on my commando and it is balanced it is in combination with scouts speed, ewar, cloak that imbalances them; it is the same with the BrAR if it is imbalanced because a scout can choose ranges, but I don't think of it or Remote Explosives as an issue. I have 0 experience with the core locus so I can not comment. The use of turbo effects many semi auto and it was suggested charged weapons which makes them harder to balance and place, but the only issue I have with the ScR is when I run into a turbo user.

im just going form experience but out on the field in pub and fw it seems to be like 50% BAR 30% SCR and 10% RR and 10% CR
however the militia assault RR has a charge time of 0.01 ;)

ok its official.. EVERY single match iv played in the last 4 hours were totally onesided and 2 of them had the same CRU camping scrub squad present.
i think its time to remove squad sign up from pub or separate it so squads cannot go against solo and vice versa..
also bring FW salvage mechanic to pub contracts

I am surprised that Skirmish 1.0 (Rush) was removed for something that is entirely different. I can see having Multi-Point King of the Hill but removing a game mode for it? That would be like removing Ambush (Team Death Match) for Capture the Flag.

You could probably get some of those people off the roof top and try to be helpful if CCP buffed the payouts to be like they were when 1.9 came out. Glitch or not it was the greatest day of Dust ever! Pilots weren't complaining about the cost of their vehicles, people who didn't run PC could play Proto or something other then ADV/STD, it was overall a beautiful day.

I love it! I'm stealing that word, "mexipacked". It isn't racist, it is absolutely descriptive of the general mentality of certain demographics in this game.

FOTM CK.O Scout Stack Shields with Kin/Cats in Lows W/ Viziam Scrambler Rifle.
1k Hp suit dead in four shots while watching them do figure 8's thru my gun fire. BrAR is too slow for that fit they "matrix" thru the lame rate of fire.
Only answer is a Duvalle Assault Rifle.
Which is weak to armor (90%) of player base, but your aim doesn't matter. CK.0 Scout hitbox is still broke as sh!t... kin/cats just make it work.
Hoping that the equipment spam nerf means a lower warbarge strike option (Rat said EMP is coming), that puts a big hurt on the uplinks on rooftops.

I think I made a good enough QQ post about roof camping, just play something else like me. There's only so many times you can beat a dead horse until you're literally putting a saddle on it and trying to ride it. To fix these problems will be to change the entire foundations of the game, so either put up or get out I guess, sad but true.

People wont ever get better or more importantly pull off hot **** and have fun, if they are cowering in a corner worrying about their KDR.
Forget KDR, it is a silly little statistic that has verry little bearing on anything in this game. Guys fit yourselves some funky suicide suits on the cheap and get in there and splat those proto monsters!
Me personally, I run about with a plasma cannon like a headless chicken. I take out protos sometimes and I enjoy it when I do. Sometimes I pull out my templar heavy suit strapped with a militia forge gun. I go to town sniping those fools that stand still with my few hundred isk forge...... BWWAAAOOMM someone died....... #charging up...# BWAAAOOOMMM someone else died.
You wont get better by hiding in the redline. Get out there in cheap suits and try.
Yes sometimes battles are horrifically one sided but they are the matches where you skills are put to the absolute test.
