During the week of December 2-9, players will experience 50% increase of the Loyalty Point (LP) rewards from Factional Warfare matches.
Additionally, should players win a Factional Warfare match fighting for their own faction (Example: Amarr Players winning a match fighting for Amarr side in Factional Warfare), they will receive 100.000 ISK bonus reward for each match won in the following days after the event is over!

This sounds awesome.
I wish you could declare loyalty to a faction though rather than it be because of the race you chose at the start or character creation.

The event doesn't mind which dropsuit you use - just make sure you fight for your own faction ;)

So, let's we go further...
At FW matches all dropsuit from one side get faction colors (baners etc).
This give you nice feeling when you meet galente suit in ammar colors.
(or just color it like blue/red - friend/foe - because when friendly fire is ON it is important to who you shoot)

Well atleast in this (yet another) broken event I will make back all my LP that i have blown getting my BPOs. All 5 amarr BPOs and a few hundred k LP in the bank will feel good.
Seriously tho, who is planning these events? Are you guys just pulling ideas out of a hat over there?

I like the 50% increase in LP, but I will be screwed for the ISK rewards, when I started playing I chose the Caldari because they had a nice helmet (didn't know anything about EVE universe), but now I'm playing only Min suits and FW. I show much more fidelity to my true faction than nearly all the players.
Why not giving the ISK when you fight for your highest rank faction instead of starting faction? |

I only use Minmatar stuff. I'd imagine lots of people are going to miss out on the ISK rewards for similar reasons.

Keep track of how much LP you get for the duration of the event and post it. That would set some records.

Is there a time window when FW is active? I usually can only play right around downtime. I've tried a couple times during the weekend at peak US hours but I get an estimated wait of something like 1:33, then 7 minutes later realize I've not actually been playing a video game and go do something else. |

How are we supposed to do this event ? fanction never seems to be going and when it is it is a 7 min wait to get in. is there a time the FW starts ?

Get a lot of complaints about the SP events do they? No, because they actually work.
This event gives the biggest rewards for fighting for 'your race'. Given most people didn't know much about the universe when they made their characters and chose their race pretty much at random, this is unduly restrictive. It would have been SO easy to make a FW event that was interesting to everyone, but they didn't.
Love these comments that basically blow CCP no matter how badly thought through their events are  |

How about 500.000 ISK for an Amarr playing in minmatar factional, just because we REBELS??? |

The 100.000 ISK bonus is simply what it says - bonus. If players don't need ISK - they can still simply fight for their own faction of choice and get 50% LP bonus. :) This is something that is part of our future event plan rollout which involves...
...oh wait, I can't talk about it yet, but Dev Blog is coming later this week to explain this super secret feature :D
