^^^ Really PC Scrubby Pilot talk right here.
"I have 16 teamates on coms running all proto killing all 2 AV in the area becuz in pc nearly the entire team runs scouts, heavies and logis"
Winning Air to Groud fights or Air to Air in pubs when you're redlined, fighting against packs of AV roaming the battlefield thats hard mode. Attacking packs of troops who are too busy being shotgunned of officer ganked to look at you, easy as pie.

if he wants to fly an ADS so bad he can spend the beginning sp on ADS.. there's enough to skill into ADS after playing 2 matches. i know because i've done it before on an alt. the whole reason they buffed the fgt and his swarm launcher is because everyone was crying about the amount of ADS spam the last hotfix. should i have an MLT light suit with a cloak just because the higher SP character with the proper SP has a cloak i should also have one without spending the SP my reason being because i want to learn to use a cloak? the most disgusting thing about the self proclaimed pilot community is their sense of entitlement.
Well you did get the AV crying part right.
So, hows your ADS alt doing?

It costs me about 500K per kill I'd guesstimate.
It always hurts in the beginning. My survival tips:
Uplinks first. Every spawn point is a potentional swarmer/forge gun looking right at you. The troops can't hurt you too badly so they rank low on the threat list. Any dropship heading for a high point to droplinks is priotiry number 1.
Installations are leathal! Bewary of large rails. On maps where rails have easy line of sight of the objective, keep altitude or make sure they don't have line of sight of where you are flying.
Afterburn/ Proto modules Never wait for a second AV salvo. No matter what as soon as you take one hit GTFO. Only after you are hit will you be able to gauge the strength of Av and decide you can give engaging them a shot. Swarms are balanced to kill tanks, and you are no tank. Fit complex hp modules wherever possible.
Make long diving passes Odds are, you will bill killed by AV if you stick around them. Make a pass from a long way, you can probably pick off a medium suit or some hives on a decnet pass, forget the heavies and never try it vs min commandos.
Read the situation: Dropships are not good in ever match at all times. The tougher it is for the blueberries, the more available the red are for switching to AV with repercussion. On the ohter hand when the reds are focused on Anti infantry, a ADS may relieve some presure on the blues. Just go back to killing uplinks before troops. Everybody wants revenge and for every trooper you kill odds are they will respawn in AV. Make sure they don't repspawn right next to you.
Hope it helps.
