I personally have no luck, when ever I pull an ADS everyone flocks to supply depot and often get killed because WTF swarms still curving around buildings ECT.
Swarms have to counter IMO, once locked on and fired it is extremely hard to avoid them. Stress of extremely.
P.S. Me and my friend fit an ADS with 2 XT-1 turrets and we got two shotted by a redline railgun, then called in tank to destroy turret and called in ADS again and got blown up by one player with STD swarms. (we hit AB right when we herd the swarm go off but they caught up and destroyed us. I definitely have no luck.
I'm not gonna say swarms are OP because I know i'm about to have tomatoes thrown at me if I did.
all the good ADS pilots still do great in PC. its the bad pilots that are the ones that suffer now.
PC everyone uses forge so it is a bit easier than when everyone uses swarms like in pubs. Also-pilots in PC lose about 2-3 ships in which you can still make a profit but In pubs you can't afford to lose one if you want to profit.
Swarms>FG.
if you don't have isk then maybe ADS might not be for you. try a BPO scout.
Yeah, but ISK shouldn't be a barrier in this game for a role be it Dropsuit, Vehicle or whatever.
Vehicles should not be a present for those with SP and ISK to spare. They need to be accessible to lower SP and ISK pilot as well, which is almost impossible right now.
That's because the base frame (The ADS itself) is around 200k by itself IIRC.
They need to reduce the price of the base ADS and increase the ISK price of the modules incrementally. This allows lower SP and ISK players to run ships that can crash and learn while not bleeding themselves dry.
Also: It allows tankers/ads pilots to make "Cheap fits" like we infantry do. Let them have their super expensive flying death machines if they want, but also give the lower tiered pilots something to work with.
