I like the idea of matches with friendly fire on. It encourages skilled play. There should never be consequence-free team killing. Area effect weapons must be used with extreme caution.
But there should be a difference between being GÇ£punishedGÇ¥ by your peers for stupid, careless play, and being GÇ£bannedGÇ¥ for deliberate harassing, griefing, awoxing of teammates.
I propose a dual-mode GÇ£punishmentGÇ¥ system.
The first mode would give the option to GÇ£costGÇ¥ the careless blueberry a portion of their Loyalty Points. Perhaps as much as 50%. Friendly fire through reckless and indiscriminate use of your weapons should be strenuously discouraged in a way that still gives you an option to GÇ£learnGÇ¥ from your mistakes.
The second mode would give the option to kick and GÇ£banGÇ¥ someone after they had been punished via the first mode at least twice in a battle. They would be kicked from battle and not earn any LP or SP.
(Note: As a side effect of applying real consequences to even the first instance of friendly fire, I would predict TTK in factionals would increase markedly. Many tacticians would see this as a plus for the game.)
Enough Likes to this and I'll post to the suggested features section.
FPS = First Person Support. Kills win battles but it's kinda hard to kill if you're dead and out of ammo.

It doesn't stop ppl making alts to just switch through and grief ppl
A more "accelerated" banning as described would decrease the amount of "fun" per any given alt. But I agree it wouldn't stop such behavior.
Suggestions? Or do you not think this is much of a problem?
I was running in a cpl or your Kirjuun Heiian Caldari FW channel's squads yesterday, and quit it after being frustrated with this behavior. That's why I posted.

Different "Random" blueberries. Not in squads. No, they were not in Dust Brazil. I don't mean to whine. I just moved on to other things after losing suits to deliberate "un"friendly fire. Also, I am not the sort to have "enemies" in the game, so I am sure it was no vendetta.
They were chasing me down and plinking me, pausing between shots. Could I have killed them? I'm pretty sure I could. Instead, I approached and remained stationary. No response. So I began moving to the objective again. Plink, Plink, dead.
I don't retaliate because a) this might MAKE an enemy or encourage the griefing behavior and b) I would rather not get punished myself. I don't think the "risk" of getting killed is in any way a punishment to griefers who will get LP and WP when they finish the match, even if they kill a few blues.
