It's totally broken. Usually it spawns people in the most wrong place possible, like right out in the open in front of the entire enemy team so you are literally a free kill. Or right behind an enemy so you can shoot him in the back. Or when it keeps on spawning your whole team in a small building that is clearly covered in enemies and is a total spawnkilling bloodbath.
It should not be called "Smart" when it is utterly ********.
Fix it so that if possible you will always spawn away from enemies when using "Smart Deploy", or at the very least change the name back to "Auto" because that just implied it was going to spawn you, it wasn't saying anything about it being a smart place to spawn. |

That's why its called ambush, Attacker always gets advantage if no one has noticed, I believe they should change the name to Team Death Match rather than ambush, and have us spawn on opposite sides of the map. Oh and they need to add a capture the flag game.

I've always called it "Farm Deploy" ^-^

I don't think it was intentionally designed to be one-sided.
But the name Ambush never made sense to me. Nobody would willingly put themselves into an ambush unless they were the ones attacking. |

Please change "Smart Deploy" to "Test-Your-Luck Deploy" in next hotfix. |

Yeah, It can be pretty crazy how the 'smart-deploy' works..
My favorite moments are when I use it , and spawn behind the enemy in my Min.Scout 
But there is a greater number of times, I appear in the middle of a gunfight

Spawning someone in the middle of the enemy team does not mean that the enemy team ambushed that person. |

I wouldn't call Destiny a better game. I got bored of that **** within about a week, it's a totally nerf'd version of the game we were all expecting.
