What happens if we change the history of New Eden by making the- Caldari declare war on the Amarr, and the Minmatar declare war on the Gallante? Basically, the 4 factions are now at war against each other.
How would it affect EVE side?
(P.S. No idea what's its like on EVE, but just wondering. But, I am so sick and tired of fighting for the State trying to get a "Kampo" Logistics Suit, and mostly get pitted against a qsync squad.)
I don't always get to blow up stuff. But when I do, I prefer Forge Guns.

It would not be received well to say the least.

The Amarr have a strong military. This is known. But the Gallente alone make them hesitant, they can't take on the Gallente, Caldari, and the Minmatar all at once. Besides, my point was based on FW control.
You've obviously never seen the system/district control.

Sad to say but I'm not entirely sure the side the Caldari fight is the only issue. Some hours of the day you might have a shot against the Amarr (dust side, that is) but I wouldn't expect to have vastly better results against either us or the Minmatar.

Fair enough. But I live for GalMil so I'm aware of the current district control. I am doubly aware of how the map isn't indicative of which side is winning or has won because of the stupid mechanics ccp put in preventing any one side from attaining full war zone control.

Before we had a higly unstable system of spawning battles in place, resulting in 100% control for one side or the other. Now however we have too stable system where we constantly hover around 50% for either side, which is not good either.
The idea behind the latest concept is sound, it just need some tweaking.

Edit: I could add that my personal preference would be for the war zone (controlled districts) to reflect the current state in EVE. The original battle spawning were based on plexing in EVE, but I am not sure that is still the case. If you read this Rattati, this is easily a server side change. I would also like to join battles from the star map again, or at least make the icons reflect (down to planet view) where there are ongoing battles. Thing about Dust side FW is that owning the Warzone doesn't matter at all except for bragging rights,
E.G- Q-syncers like myself talk **** up and claim their random victories in random locations mean something.
What actually matters in FW is the distribution of owned districts. Bonuses mean nothing right now as they are so transient and based on dumb luck they fundamentally mean nothing. However if choosing districts to attack was an option then entire systems could be subject to meaningful and lasting FW bonuses.
E.G-
Amarr are currently Reclaiming Huola as we speak. Nothing will stop that.
But if Dusters oculd have selected Huola to deploy to we could have secured that -10% VP required bonus for our flexing efforts, more over we could be buffering Amamake against the Minmatar plexing effort up to and additional 10% VP.

I imagine there are player corps in EVE with more power than the 4 empires. How many titans do the empires have? I know corps / alliances in EVE that have 10,20,40,50 + titans.
And they have Capsuleers piloting them, not human scum scraped off the floor of the Amarr Empire.
I would love to see players crush all of the empires to shut you RP boys up......muhaha, MUHA HA HA HAAAAAA

Considering that the titan blueprints are owned and sold by the Empires, I wouldn't bet on any capsuleer alliance to outnumber the empires on that.
Plus
You cant measure the strength of the navies by looking at FW. FW was made by the empires to keep capsuleers and mercs busy killing eachother, the navies are made up by non-capsuleer pilots (npcs) |

Moreover suggesting that maybe 1000 capsuleers is equal in power to trillions in individuals....... yeah I think Empires have things in hand.

I am 100% behind you on this. (It's not fun knowing the district you just claimed with you duo-squad will be lost by a random bunch of blueberries before you even select the next battle)
But this is my point. We all know FW needs serious attention and alteration if it supposed to work as you describe, which is (sadly) not very likely. However, perhaps we can get a middle ground simply by changing the way the system spawns battles (and where) to "simulate" this as closely as possible?
- What if the system creates hotspots of activity, which does not shift to another planet/system until one side have total control? - What if this makes it almost guaranteed to deploy to another distinct on the same planet several matches in a row? - What if all districts within a system (which is stable EVE side) automatically switches owner to the controlling faction. - Etc
That's many "what ifs", but my point being: There are many things CCP Rattati and boys can do to improve FW with server side changes only, to get away from this random stalemate we have now.

Pahh trillions of standard humans are no match to just one good fleet of capsuleers. The empires may have greater resources but they sure as hell would not beat the capsuleers.
I thought that the empires were worried about the rise of capsuleer power across the galaxy? I thought that was a top lore point moving forwards in EVE lore?

For every Capsuleer you have in Null Sec you have another in Empire space willing to defend them. Numbers have a quality all of their own.

I would rather defend the Caldari from being taken over by immortals than to let them have a territory of their own.
They are my kind yes, but I know most are power hungry and dissolute, one can even call a lot of them evil.
CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.

You also seem to be under the assumption that the Navies don't have access to Capsule technology, which is false.
