I started of gal assault and later went commando as well . Been playing about 9 months. Could use some advice on fitting or playstyle etc.
I got 4 fits 2 throwaways and 2 proto and only run com mods
Quafe kin cat repair and armor w/ glu and breach smg
Quafr 3 kin cats shotty and toxin dmg
Fed gko kin 3 reps armor 2light dmg and 1 sidearm with duv spec AR and brech smg
Gko 4 reps 1armor same 2light dmg mods duv TAC Breach smg
I usually run patrols about 60metrs fro. The letter. Take out stragglers and call out large pushes. Occasionally charge the point if it looks plausible. I know how to use cover and who to pick a fight with. I just want to get even better with it but don't know how. I gave up on cqc because REs always get me while fighting someone else and I know sentinels are cqc kings.

Ghost that was just the answer i was looking for. I have tried all of said weapons but never in such ways. Id put 5 kin cats on my gko. Id charge chot everything with my ion no exceptions.The range is pitiful though. I can finish targets with the breach smg at almost ar range. Never used the plasma for infantry unless i was in my commando. Also I am too scared to abuse my cover solo . Even though my hp will be back in 15 seconds there is almost always someone I'm unaware of when I have attempted to do so. I usually get in cover only to be found by the friendly enemy scout. But if I have a logi with a focus you ******* bet I will be a bullet sponge in some situations.
I like all the ARs but the burst is the worst solo gun in my opinion. Ive ran with 2 gal assault with burst ars. Its a beautiful thing. I less respect crs and hmgs and more fear them. If i have no shields then just 5 cr taps or a small hold of the hmg trigger will **** all over me.Real fast. I will take into consideration what you said. See how well I like it.

Danthrax I respeced completely into gal assault and commando. EVERYTHING is maxed out. Just not any ewar skills.

Thanks checkmate but isnt that pretty much the exact same fit i posted originally ? I also did post this from my phone so it wasn't exactly easy to read. Appreciate the input. I've never tried scans on an assault before.

Hmm ferroscales you say? I might give em a shot. I never really considered them useful . It would be nice to jump over railings .

I have respecced 9 since they released times trying to find the perfect suit. I now have my gallente commando and assault maxed out. Cores maxed with no points into ewar. I have shotty and ar trees fived out. Smg is almost there. Only equipment i have is rep tools. I know compact hives are great but i just never used em too often and I prefer guns that conserve ammo. I don't use grenades on my assault because my commando does not have them.
If my gko cant throw a core locus into a room before i walk in with a shotty and ar then my damn assault shouldnt be able to either. Im all about cloning and surviving in my suits with the exception of my chubby chaser commando . That mofo is meant to keep a heavy alive in situation that most regular logis cant survive.
Ive used shield extenders dampeners precison enhancers myofibs on my assault . The whole shebang. I do derp a lot with friends. Im glad i got an idea of some other fits that people run so i can try them when im serious.
