Krion and Garmund were both mounted with only seconds left until the round commenced. The round started and Garmund an Krion both smashed their lances against each other, Garmund went flying while something kept Krion on. Garmund gave it all he could to stand or even move from the ground, but was being held there by some sort of force.
"Did I just win?" Krion was puzzled as of how he could stay on the stryder, but could also dismount Garmund with enough force to keep him down.

A few hours later it was discovered that he had declared a Pas d'armes, a passage of arms, on the bridge to Bexley challenging anyone who wished to cross to combat until Krion faced him.

"Akai. I am -Ñoi from the Parabunny Nation." He held up a steel container of liquids, a Pini as named by it's creators. "By my family tradition, I would gift you this in hopes of good weather." He brought the Pini down and handed it to the stranger. "Kami blood, strong stuff with a sweet taste. I do warn that you don't drink it with an empty stomach, or that you believe it is real blood due to it's name and colour." He paused for a quick laugh. "Ah, well I am Head of Creed, -Ñoi, and you are?" His voice became smooth as he turned to see a young female, but still held the accent strongly.

Mila looked up at the foreigners as her Harbour Master accepted the steel container exchanging pleasantries with the their leader who addressed them with strange phrases than made no sense to her.
She'd followed the Master down from their offices having hurriedly scribbled out the remaining copies of the trade records earning her a disapproving grunt from the master who'd used the time to adjust his thinning hair and don a formal mantle. Since the abolishment of the Foreign Quarters these would be the first to arrive in the Sy'thal Isles for anything more than small scale trading.
The thought was truly exciting. The docks were a frenzy of activity as merchants and sailors rapidly began to gather at the landing. From the other room the Master boomed at her to make herself presentable and just before he bustled her out of the offices she managed to clutch at and gather her short-bow and quiver. They were nothing but children's toys suited for hunting small game on the rivers but she felt more comfortable with them.
She picked out the foreigners from the upper docks but until no had not perceived just how different they were. As their party approached she had ducked behind the Master and chose to peek around him at the much taller men assembled by the docks.
"We accept this gift by the Graces of Kalya, and bit you all welcome to Rhen-Ys and this harbour district. I am Harbour Master Dammel , representative of this district, responsible for the daily operations of our sailors. Be welcome here all of you and your kin."
Announced the Master amidst nods of approval from the rapidly assembling merchants and sailors. He seemed unphased by the alienness of the men.
" Please we have naught of true value to gift you with at this time but as is the wish of Prince Dontherys you shall all be given all our hospitality. If you so wish we can retire to the Hall to discuss your purpose in Rhen-Ys while we prepare a suitable git for exchange."

Thane returns to the castle to view the last few fights as Krion wins the tournament. He congratulates him at the end of the competition and looks visibly relieved that the whole contest is over and done with.
The ship of his Oar-Captain departs for the Angelis Islands in order to find samples of what the Skadii now understand to be steel-silk leaving Thane in the city to spend his time in the markets talking to merchants about trade, in the court libraries studying culture, and greeting nobles in their manner.

Eofor encounters Thane whilst he is adding additional manuscripts to the library, mostly compositions of manuscripts written by Squires about the valiant adventures of their Knights, which are then edited and compiled by Scholars.
"Ahh, Envoy Thane, I see you've decided to stay a while longer. I've been making arrangements to deliver an Ambassador to Skadia. The Captain I've assigned wishes to take a fast warship, but I believe it'd be wiser to send a cargo ship. Much less threatening, and we can send some trade goods with them.

Fear not Osmarian Chancellor the people of Skadia fear nothing from the oceans.... whatever vessel you choose to send will be received warmly."

Eofor seeks out a suitable diplomat to serve as an ambassador to the Skadian Isles when he comes across Eadmun.
Eadmund... he thought to himself He's the one that settled that border dispute between the Earls of Howe and Kilerth. That could've escalated in an outright war between the counties.
"Eadmund, a word with you if you will."
"Certainly Chancellor, what about?"
"I have come to you with a very important job, you've heard of the Skadians that have revealed themselves, correct?"
"Of course, very impressive. They have ships to rival our own, what about them?"
"I would like you to be an Ambassador to them."
An Ambassador? thought Eadmund. It was a rather prestigious position, and of course held huge responsibility. His standing in the realm would certainly be improved
Eofor spoke further, interrupting his thoughts "You would be responsible for representing Osmarium, and informing us of whatever you learn about them."
"M'lord Chancellor, I graciously accept your kind offer."
"Excellent, I have one or two more things to settle with the Captain that is taking you. I'd expect you to leave in three days time."
Eofor brought the update to the Queen, who was happy to have a diplomat as skilled as Eadmund to be an ambassador. With that settled, he set about convincing the Captain that a trade vessel is the wisest option.
