The Amarr Scout is the scout hunter. It has the ability to have high tank, high stamina and high precision. Stealth really isn't the preffered way to play this suit. Cuz it's slow and have low hp when fitted for full ewar (for eg. caldari with damps still have 540ehp). Smart scouts will damp and get below your scans, smart assaults will scan you and take you down if you won't use atleast one damp. Caldari Loyalist Markiplier fan. Got 6815 WP only on wrecking tanks with Ion Cannon.

I'll run 2 complex precision enhancers a range amp and some armor tank: various plates/repper. I use an AR with an SMG sidearm. The AR works well for targets in your scan range and is effective at melting scouts at those ranges with its fairly balanced damage profile, solid hipfire and ability to spray at fast-moving targets. I usually only cloak to cross open areas or to run away if overwhelmed. It's a squishy suit, so you'll need to stay close to your squad and hide in cover. You will loose in 1v1 to almost everything but scouts. It is very good at killing scouts though and is a huge help to your squad--very situational. Best PvE idea ever!

Amarr scout will only have bigger chances facking Minja. But not that big. Other scouts strafe faster, and have same/more hp dampened than tanked amarr. If you will fit amarr with 3x reactives, he would have around 400armor+ base shields. Dampened caldari have 540ehp + move faster. Dampened gallente have around 500ehp. Minja would have 400ehp. And you would be easy to scan. Even for them [other scouts] (lp scanner is good enough). So.. amarr scout is good for 2things : -scaning noob scouts (with out damps) -24\7 scans in towns. That assumes that the guy you are shooting at is dumb enough not to shoot back. You have to have damage mods, high damage weapons and a cardiac regulator to make it as an Amarr scout. Granted it takes more effort than a noob friendly scout like the Caldari Scout, but it is much more effective when honed. Put your flags up in the sky. And wave them side to side. They were cool in 1.7. They were cool prior to close/med/far range passive scans. Now, the bonus is pretty useless.

Fight like the Amarr. It really helps to know a little lore on combat styles. Another casualty of going console. Amarr armor up and push forward. Stop trying to be a ninja. Be a faster, more versatile assault. Essentially it's like being a Cal assault. Move in and out of cover and sprint around the battlefield to help cover flanks and areas faster to help the main medium suits infiltrate quicker. I like to provide suppressive fire with a scr pistol or rifle to repel borders or redirect fire. Also, I provide links and scans. Everyone wants FOTM OP or nothing it seems. I'm better than laser focused; I'm hybrid focused.
