I have lost over 30 million isk due to new isk scams in the squad finder. They lure you in saying they will double or triple the isk you send to them. U might get lucky and receive a few doubles back but when isk numbers get into the millions they kick you from the squad lock the squad and blocked me as a user and made off with my isk.
ALL PLAYERS BEWARE OF THESE SCAMS IN THE SQUAD FINDER!
two of them go by the psn username "fireandlave" and "gamerbro_bacon"
They took my isk and they will take yours too! Watch out guys n gals.
Dust if you dont already know hopefully this brings it to your attention.

This is quite literally one of the oldest running scams in New Eden. In fact it's so old, common, and stupid that it's an ongoing joke about the people who actually fall for this stuff.
But really, I've dealt with these kinds of guys before. If you send me your isk I can refund it x5 so you can recoup your losses. Really stick it to those ******* scammers.

It doesn't need to be looked at. If you hear someone say "this is New Eden", it means that this is an RPG of a galactic economy where you can scam someone if they fall for it. It's part of the in-depth experience of this world. Learn from it and move on.

You don't seem to get it. This is New Eden. CCP encourages players to screw each other over. Scamming is 100% allowed as long as it does not exploit the game itself. Trust no one. Assume that everyone is trying to steal everything you have, kill you, and desecrate your dead body. There are no punishments for stealing, betraying, or overall screwing your fellow player over. Consider this your first lesson.

CCP allows all other types of scams to exist. ISK-doubling scams as permitted. Corp theft is also permitted. Corporate sabotage is permitted. Corporate espionage is permitted. Burning the entire in-game economy -- as seen back in April 2012 with the Burn Jita event in Eve Online that lasted 3 straight days -- is permitted. Scamming with PLEX is permitted.
But if the scam involves any PSN codes, it's NOT permitted.

I am the good guy here trying to help put an end to these psn code scams i could care less about isk doubling scams cause they are allowed iam trying to get the goofs scamming me and others for fake psn codes. some common sense would help: don't give isk to people randomly! especially if they ask u to donate all of it, besides scammers aren't going away even if we try, all we need to do is make sure that we don't fall for these again. what is propose to CCP is that they put tips regarding this in the loading screens instead of just putting gaming tips

Now, for a time I did run a legit ISK doubling service in corp finder. Had mad millions then, now I save my ISK and demand more!
They don't care, scamming is allowed. It's a great part of the game too!

Play them like fools.
Send them 25K.
They'll always double it,and if not, its just 25K. No big deal. If they do, however, you've already got them hook line and sinker.
If they double it. send 45K.
If they doube that, send 85K.
Then 150K.
Then 280K.
I've gotten people to double me up all the way to 500K.
They ran off with the 800K. Little do they know however, that I took money from them.

some people have sent me ISK just for being squadded up with them, blackstorm sent me 5m, then 5m the next game, nice guy, only ever played against him since then though.
we need more of a social easier to access contacts tab (so and so is online) invite, etc.

Then I joined nul sec. (And had no need to scam)
So make sure you double and triple check those zeros when buying in bulk so you don't get scammed
