Play pub matches till you get burnt out, only takes me about 5-10 matches for me to be done for the week.

The best way for you to make isk by remaining competitive and useful is to make a cheap standard suit for 20-30k isk, easily spammable, and as others said, spam ambush !
If you have BPO, run them^^
Take out all forms of scans and you'll see how great Dust can be.
Scrubs will cry, good players will love it.

get yourself to survive more with a cheaper suit. If it is true that you were constantly running proto, you only have yourself to blame for running out of ISK. Create different levels of suit costs and keep tabs on how much you are losing in battle vs gaining. Roughly, numbers dont have to be exact. try to keep yourself even or profitable. If you're heavily focused on KDR, STOP. Until you can afford to run proto nonstop and be profitable, dont worry about it, this isnt CoD

Skill into these things.
Basic scout.
Basic cloak.
Make a fit with your basic scout.
Put the militia shotgun, basic cloak, militia uplink, militia CPU upgrade, militia PG upgrade.
That is it.
Spam ambush matches.
Drop your uplink at start, this gives you wp during match.
Then cloak up and go headshot people with shotgun.
This suit costs me a grand total of 7,000 isk.
Yours might cost a little more.
With 150k isk a match, you can die 20 times before you start losing isk with this fit.
And it can kill a heavy in 3 shots.
Feel free to make it better, but being ambush cheaper the better i think.
