The RR wasn't really that OP to me, lol guess I'm the only one that rarely got killed by it and really didn't use that much either.
It was good at range, ok at CQC. Rattati just made it completely useless lol.

That weapon is a part of New Eden lore already. It is the predecessor to the Rail Rifle. It doesn't do enough damage to break the shields on a dropsuit, so it isn't used by us.
Its like attacking a mountain with a floaty noodle...

In reality, against regular humans, the Assault Rifle could have a lethal range of 500M+, it's just that as the power decreases over range, eventually it hits a point where the Dropsuit can block 100% of it with little to no effort.
Think of a flamethrower, against dry paper, you could probably light it up at 80m, but a car? you'd need to be within 40m for that.
The Rail Rifle could have a lethal range of well over 20 KM, and the CR could have a lethal range of 8KM

Meanwhile we receive a ton of damage from leaping down 6M even though most people of moderate athletic ability can do this without suffering damage.
