Save your money. Just ask. Were your tests thorough? Five respecs thus far gives off the impression that you spent little time in actually testing your fits. I'm doing my respecs weekly to ensure that I have ample time to learn the ins and outs of each suit and weapon combination and also to properly gauge each fit's combat and support effectiveness against a wide array of opponents.
I see why you'd think this is little time to check fits, but its not , considering i've already played previously with every suit type before XD so the time needed to test stuff was reduced, but not useless. I tried them each fit on several maps, solo and with teams of different skill levels.
The ONLY thing i didnt take into consideration are vehicles.
Quick resume: Scouts: -Amarr: My favorite and the one i kept after testing them all.(my scout of choice) The dual cx Precision enhancer Amarr Ak.0 Scout is a scout killer by excellence. I can see all but the dampenest of scouts (which are at LEAST EHP gimped) while tanking armor. Also, very useful as a ''Start Match'' suit due to its incredible Stamina/Stamina regen. Go ahead, put 2 cx kin cats on it and run half the map XD) -Gallente: THe Do it all of scouts. Dampening plus precision. Even if the precision bonus is not even HALF as powerful as the Amarr scout one, their dampening bonus (plus natural 36db scan profile) Make it a powerful suit for infiltration. Remember to dual cx Profile damp this suit is going vs Amarrian Ak.0 with double precision Enhancers! Calamari: Besides the Broken Hitbox that still makes me miss 90% of my bullets, the Cal scout is another do it all scout but shield based. Great Shield regen per sec (at 50) make it also a VERY powerful Combat scout. With natural 40(or less) scan precision and Bonus Range amplification ,the Cal scout can also be used as an Assault with less scan profile and a good 45+mts range scanner low enough to pick up Heavies and most Assaults. Minmatar: Minmatar is a really specialized suit IMO. Perfect with NK's , Code breakers or Mybrofyl stimulants. Also good for speed tankers. I did play a fit with 1 cx Kin cat And 2 cx codebreakers and dedicated only to hack stuff for a whole match and it was the most fun i'd had without having to kill anybody. 3 cx Precision enhancers were also at hand.
Assaults: All assaults are REALLY good, but the Amarr and Minmatar one take the cigar with their Bonuses. I wont get into them right now since they are ALL very good and they have Slots PLUS EHP so their adaptability is endless. If you dont know what to play with, go with MIN ASSAULT. Speed, EHP, Stamina regen are your friends. Plus 4 slots on each side at proto level guarantee you can play almost EVERY style. -Amarr: Very good, solid Assault. Problem is its bonus only affects two weapons. SCR rifles and Laser Rifles. IF you are NOT using any of these weapons i would recommend another suit. -Minmatar: The most versatile assault there is. ADV level with 3 and 3 ,and @ PROTO level 4 and 4 make it the MOST versatile suit in the game. Not only you get 90 Bullet Breach SMG so that you can weild any light weapon you want while still making use of its bonus, but the 85 bullet ACR works like a ranged HMG XD -Calamari:Shield tanking, Shield regen, Shield regulation, Movement and reload speed. The Caldari Assault is a perfect example of battlefield excellence. Only easily defeated by Ak.0 With Viziams...the Calamari ASsault prooves most deadliest at longer ranges with Rail tech. Currently , My Assault of Choice. Gallente: The gallente assault is a misunderstood one. Everybody Misses the point of its bonus. Its meant to be used with HIGH ROF ASSAULT RIFLES, the Duvolle variants and the Allotec Burst variants to be more specifically. While paired with any of these 2 weapons and with the capacity to have EHP over 800 with 2 cx damage mods , make the gallente a Balanced but solid suit. (Example fit, 2cx dam mods, 1 shield ext, 3ferroscale plates, 2 cx armor reps)
Sentinels: Overall, all sentinels are balanced and have their own purpose. Their anti splash damage bonus makes them resilient vs grenades,mass drivers and splash damage in general...Their heavy weapon Bonus makes them increase the fitting options the higher the level. -Amarr: This sentinel is one of the most used. Its defensive bonus towards Projectile weapons (Combat Rifles, A.C.rifles, SMg's and HMG's) and massive EHP numbers make this suit a wise choice. Probably the best suit while talking Sent vs Sent because of massive armor numbers and Armor resistance to HMG's. -Gallente: Similar to the Amarr one but with a defensive bonus towards RAil tech. (RR,ARR and Bolt P, Mag sec SMG to be confirmed). To be honest its the best sentinel to be caught in the open ,havign good defense against all RANGED weapons. ( LAser is -20% vs Armor, which the gallente has by far. And the Rail tech defense bonus) -Minmatar:My Sentinel of choice. The secret of the minmatar Sentinel's sucess is not its sprint speed, taht is not THAT impressive, but its MOVEMENT speed at over 4. This paired with a decently balanced slot layout make the Min Sentinel a very powerful one. My fit with it is: 1cx armor rep, 1 cx kin kat, 1 cx Shield Energizer, 2 Shield Extenders. Calamari: 1 second shield depleted delay and 4 high slots to stack energizers. Bonus defense to Blaster hybrid weapons on shields (shotguns,Assault rifles - specifically BREACH AR's XD) Enough said.
The best Damage mod is a HEADSHOT....
