It felt like a huge troll. Either way, I'll always root for them to fail.
I remember winning fights in ToP. Not enough to write home about, but enough to they weren't a complete failure.
This is back when I used to squad up with Catdoge (His Amarr Assault days), Solar, Kardia and the others on a regular basis.
That being said, when everything went downhill, I joined FA, and I've never left. Glad I didn't leave to re-form ToP, as that was a massive disappointment the second time.
Third times a charm right Kardia? Hope it actually works out this time. P.S Don't give Killed Again access to the corp wallet.

I def won't be joining then Killed Again is not in Titans of Phoenix. He has his own corp.

To me, its more about the spirit of being in an alliance. You join up to support each other and make the group stronger than the sum of its parts. .
For as long as I've been in Tso's, theres always been a rule of "No Ringing against Alliance". I'm not sure if it was ever official, but I know that it was known by members. On more than one occasion, you would enter PC, see someone from an alliance corp on the other side, and we would send mails saying "Alliance: Don't ring for them".
9 times out of 10 they would leave.
Anyways: My point is that its the SPIRIT of being in an alliance. It's one of the reasons why I'm mad at a few members in Cap Aq (And some other members in other Tso's corps) because they don't understand what that means.
It means not starting sh*t in alliance chat.
It means working together with other corps to make them stronger
It means ringing for other corps when they desperately need a team
It means putting the alliances desires above your corporate desires
THIS is what makes a strong alliance. One that puts the whole before the individual. One that treats alliance mates like corp mates, and works as a team to achieve greatness. THIS is what I want Tso's to be like.
Personally, I believe that every corp in Tso's that doesn't strive toward this ideal should be kicked out, but that's not my call to make. The team should ALWAYS come before the individual.
Looking back, I probably had this mentality driven into my skull by one very passionate football coach who, if nothing else, wanted a team that worked like a family. He may not have wholly succeeded, but he did manage to get us to work together, despite how much some of us hated each other. We may not have liked each other, but we would always put personal feelings aside and work together to achieve greatness.
Accuse me of being an unrealistic idealist, and you'd probably be right. But personally, I think that simply striving toward the unreachable has more positive effects than you would believe.

You gotta remember, we haven't had to fight a real fight in a long time. PC was dead for quite a while, and a lot of our guys came back from Destiny.
Yeah, we've been losing a lot of fights. Yeah, it sucks, believe me. But it shows us where we need to improve. It shows us what new guys are willing to work hard and adapt in PC. It even shows us what people we can no longer field in PC, since they appear to lack drive to succeed.
I have faith in FA though. Remember back to old wars.

We lost a lot to OH
And we always stepped up and answered the call. It just takes people who are able and willing to say "Hey, we're getting our asses kicked. What can we do to improve? What can I DO to help out this team?"
Until the individual players are willing to put their losses and KD/R LAST, and the Victory Screen FIRST, a Corp will NOT be successful in PC.
Hell, I see it when I play KEQ. Last nights fights were won because you guys WANTED it more.
I saw some dude (Micah?) whose ONLY JOB was link spamming. Links Links Link and a mass driver. That was it. He went negative several times, even when winning. AND HE DID HIS JOB.
I saw a bunch of scouts who religiously spammed links and removed them. I saw players that would suicide and spawn in on links to rush a point, KDR and Gear Loss be damned.
This is why KEQ was successful last night. They're bringing it. And the teams I've lost with in FA have not. It's that simple.

I don't know why everyone says we are lying when we say that. We literally had a corp meeting before we joined and took a poll. We didn't want to leave PC, but we still hated DNS and wanted to see it gone. This plan was a win-win. Of course we went through with it.
Worst case scenario: We try to break up DNS and fail, and we are right back to where we would have been, with ISK in our pockets. Pretty damn good deal.

What makes them any less deserving? They're still people, and your teammates.
Hell, if I found out that one my buds on the football team was like that, I'd lay his ass out. As my coach said "I'm here to make you better men first, better football players second". That training doesn't exist solely in football or work. It carries over to everything you do.

Hey, Links gotta go, and heavies have nasty habits of spawning on links. I generally execute most links with a flaylock, but if there is a lot of links in one spot, I'll pop down an RE and wait a bit to see if I get lucky. Can't wait until heavies get toned down a bit, so that we don't have to resort to RE's to try and take them down. Against any decent heavy, shotguns are 50/50 chance to take down, even from behind.
Seriously though, that Logi is doing her job fantastically. Props to her.

I hated Roman on the forums for a long while.
He's a nice guy on comms. I told him that when I range for Murphys. I had never been on the same team as him before.
Kinda the same with SoTa. I don't think I've EVER been on SoTa's team in a PC. But I've always had fun squadding with him in the past and chatting on skype.
Forum SoTa is very different from game SoTa

It fell because are old hero wasn't able to login. He kept on trying and it would say something about an error he tried many possibly ways to solve the problem but all his efforts ended up useless. He changed his modem, Internet providers, delete and restarted dust but nothing :( but I'm glad it's back one of my fav corps combined with HvLP what else could I ask for?! Plus the merge with VU? That's huge news!
My point was that the corp literally couldn't function without Kardia. Him not being able to come back was proof of that, since the whole thing fell apart afterwards.
As I said, I'm glad Kardia is re-building it, but we know how unstable his ability to play Dust is. If you don't want it to fall like the last two times, you guys need to be prepared for it.
Don't take this the wrong way, I wasn't trying to bash the corp. I just pointing out how it failed HARD the last two times it was up.
