But worst really come to worst, and were gonna end up pulling a Destiny, and we're be fighting for every inch of our territory. Sansha's incursions will have nothing on anything the Sleepers could possibly bring to bear.

Interesting Idea.
But prolly not. To put a big PvE story ongoing w/effect on the game will break the freedom of PVP that has come to define EVE. Just imagine what would happen if the Null Alliances lost pure soverignty on their holdings, and had some rules to abide by?
While there is a possibility of them Banding together to fight the scourge from the land, and be hallowed as the heroes who appeared from the darkness of Null Sec and saved the Untold Civilians and carebears from The Sleeper Menace; I see it much more likely that they might get VERY angry that CCP just forcibly stole their stuff, and quit.
If that idea of this "Event" (tots a story experience brah!) just goes from the High Sec, and then spreads out from there, getting weaker as they go along until they reach a point where the Nully's wont get steamed (Because we're assuming they can steamroll the Empire Navys, which we all can agree, are MUCH stronger then anything the Eggs can muster). And then imagine the Nully's making a counter offensive to reclaim the lost territory from the drones.
However, that is assuming this all is spreading from the Carebears out, and not from everywhere at once.
IDK. I just used my words, but I'm not really a EVE guy.
