This is my first rant if that's what you want to call it but i'm getting really frustrated with shotguns.

I run a Gal Scout with no armor mods, no shield mods and all dampening, range and precision mods. I use Nova Knives and SMG primarily and I have had my fair share of deaths from the infamous shotgun scout.

C'mon guys, I don't mean to offend anyone but as a someone who has only run scout, the shotgun needs to be nerfed... this literal "one hit wonder" requires zero skill and hits like a mother even at the militia level!!!!


Let me set the record that I love nova knives and I suck at them... seriously guys I wish I could boast the numbers that some of these nova knife scouts boast but I get very little kills with them but I keep trying (I'll take advice from any seasoned NK Scout, please provide advice)

I picked up the militia shotgun for a few matches and OMG I am "Lord of the Battlefield" I have no skills in shotgun and I used a basic Gal Scout dropsuit with cloak and I suddenly am on top and I think this is wrong. Something has to be done to Nerf the shotgun...reduce the damage...do not allow scouts to use them.

As I said, I do not mean to offend anyone but the Shotgun Scout should NOT exist, its too easy and cheap and a slap in the face to all scouts who go it the hard way with SMG's NK's and basically any other weapon.

If you use a shotgun it should only be equitable without a cloak device or not equitable by scouts. I'm sorry but its too powerful and easy to sneak up on Assaults, Heavies and other Scouts while cloaked and pick them off in 1 or 2 shots.... sadly even with a militia version.

Have scouts given up on their difficulty level competing with Assaults and have just went to the one weapon that gets the job done easy? I just think it should be harder than picking up the shotgun because some of us work hard with the other tools of the trade and there should be balance in game... especially with cloak.

The shotgun scouts can all hate me but if I can rock on the battlefield with a militia shotgun, then this game is broken. As a scout from the beginning, I call for a nerf of the shotgun or make it unequipable by scouts using cloak.
